The top twenty teams are determined by a panel of water polo coaches in Illinois.

 

The remaining teams are ranked by the web site based on records, strength of schedule, and quality wins.

 

Rankings change every Monday and factors looked at are the performance of each team from the previous week.

 

Remember, rankings do not measure how good you might be, they rank how you have performed so far this season.

 

Finally, remember that the rankings change once a week, they do not adjust after every win or loss...it's just like the rankings used in sports like college football and college basketball.
