NAPERVILLE CENTRAL 10 HINSDALE CENTRAL 2

Nikki Nelson, Claire Fleming, Kara Wilson each score 2 goals in the 10-2 win for Naperville Central.

 

Game 2

YORK 6 NAPERVILLE NORTH 5

Hannah Vatch, Brianna Tamm, Karen Achtien each score 2 goals for York in the win. Katie Johnson and Sara Kerfoot each score in the fourth quarter as Naperville North gets to within one, but the Dukes hold on for the narrow victory.

 

Game 3

NAPERVILLE CENTRAL 12 SCHAUMBURG 2

Redhawks score four goals in final 1:43 of second quarter to pull ahead and cruise to the 12-2 victory. Nikki Nelson leads the way with 4 goals, while freshman Claire Fleming adds 3 goals.

 

Game 4

OAK PARK 8 NAPERVILLE NORTH 2

Audrey Reardon scores 4 goals and added an assist, while Val Poulos and Lauren Gumbel each add 2 scores in the 8-2 win for Oak Park. The OPRF defense allowed just one shot on goal in the first half, as Poulos recorded 5 steals and drew one kickout and senior Megan Rigali added 6 steals and drew 2 kickouts to standout on the defensive end.

 

Game 5

HINSDALE CENTRAL 10 SCHAUMBURG 4

Caitlin Connor and Grace Kingston each score 4 goals for the Red Devils in a 10-4 win over Schaumburg. Connor also recorded 5 saves in goal in the win. 

 

Game 6

OAK PARK 10 YORK 4

Val Poulos scored 5 goals and Audrey Reardon added 4 goals as Oak Park beat West Suburban Conference rival York to advance to the title game. Melissa Maslowski recorded 11 saves in goal for the Huskies, while Megan Rigali added 5 steals on defense and Reardon contributed 2 assists and 2 steals in the win. Caitlin Garvey also added a goal in the Huskies' victory.

NAPERVILLE NORTH 11 SCHAUMBURG 1

Katie Johnson scored 3 goals while Anna Pisarcik and Kayla Westman each scored 2 times to give the Huskies their first win of the year.

1st place game

NAPERVILLE CENTRAL 10 OAK PARK 8

Kara Wilson led the Redhawks to a 10-8 title game win over Oak Park with 4 goals. Goalie Haley Nelson came up big with a penalty shot save in the opening quarter and recorded 10 saves in the win. Nikki Nelson added 3 scores and Heather Gardner scored 2 times in the victory, which helped the Redhawks improve to 11-0 on the season.

 

Oak Park jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the opening quarter in a game that stayed close the entire way. Val Poulos led the Huskies with 4 goals, while Audrey Reardon and Megan Rigali each scored 2 goals in the loss. Poulos added an assist and drew one kickout, while Rigali also added 2 steals and drew one ejection. Goalie Melissa Maslowski made 5 saves in the losing effort.
