The Wildcats used extra time to get past Hersey 12-9 in overtime on Monday. Emmett McDonald recorded 6 goals in the victory and Tristan Backhus made 11 saves for the Wildcats.

Danny McGuire tallied 7 goals, Luke Marqueda Majeski netted 4 scores and Simon Terry dished out 4 assists for the Ramblers in a 16-11 win over Niles West.

Gavin Honken totaled 5 goals, Tim Jensen notched 4 scores and Ethan Allen tallied 3 goals as the Dukes defeated Libertyville 19-1.



Oak Park 14 Loyola 7

Brady Sorg scored 6 goals, Will Keyes added 4 scores and Lucas Puntillo recorded 10 blocks in the Huskies' 14-7 win over Loyola.

Brodie Piecuch registered 8 goals while Nick Maslowski put in 5 goals in the Pirates' 18-8 win over Meadows. Caleb Bertermann tallied 6 goals in the losing effort.

Volodymyr Sobko scored 5 goals, James Corby put in 3 scores and Connor Burke scored 2 times in the Wolfpack's 13-5 victory over St Patrick.

Libertyville Claims BG Tournament After 4-0 Weekend

The Wildcats beat Maine West and McHenry in emphatic fashion on Friday and then earned wins over the hosts and Lake Forest in the title game to win the Buffalo Grove Tournament.


Lyons Edges Stevenson 6-5 To Finish 3-0 in Lincolnshire

The Lions earned wins over Stevenson 6-5 in the event's finale after also earning wins over Fremd and Whitney Young. Stevenson went 2-1 while the Dolphins knocked off Fremd 10-7 to finish in third place.


STC North Finishes 2-0-1 at the Conant Tournament

James Shimon totaled 19 goals and Tommy Marcotte made 37 saves as the North Stars defeated Conant 11-6, Hinsdale Central 8-1, and finished in a 7-7 draw with GBS on Saturday at the Conant Tournament.


Waubonsie Valley Clinches Palatine Tournament Title

Charlie Drohan recorded 14 goals on Saturday to lead the offense as the Warriors beat Palatine in the preliminary round before earning wins over Fenwick and St Rita to win the Palatine Tournament.

Kayla Wong scored 5 goals, Nora Bestor netted 4 scores while Elodie Spangler and Klaudia Kadziolka combined to earn a shutout in the Cougars' 15-0 victory over Elk Grove.

Addison Collins and Brynn Quirke each scored 2 times while Kennedy Allen and Solataire Anderson frustrated the Richards' offense as the Vikings earned a 7-2 victory on Wednesday.


Lake Forest 13 Highland Park 8

Adra Clayton notched 6 scores and Jackie Wilson tallied 3 goals in the Scouts' 13-8 win over HP.



Naperville Central 10 GBS 9

Rachel Viehweg scored the game-winner in the final minute to propel the Redhawks past GBS 10-9. Bernadette Albright also scored 4 goals on the offensive end for Central.


Stevenson 11 Conant 3

Sophia Berger scored 4 times and both Sophia Brown and Caroline Bichkoff each scored 2 goals as the Patriots defeated Conant 11-3. Elsa Kusevskis stopped 8 shots as well for the winners. Dolunary Keskes notched 2 scores in the loss for the Cougars.



Jones-Payton On Target At Conant Tournament

Morgan Butney recorded 10+ goals to help lead the Eagles to wins over Buffalo Grove, Conant and STC East at the Conant Tournament. Meanwhile, Duncan Whiteside totaled 8 goals, Kayla Wong scored 7 times and Nora Bestor scored 6 times as Conant went 2-1 at the event.


Naperville North Goes 3-0 To Win Their Own Tournament

Kelsey Wessel recorded 15 goals and Payton Schrier added 9 scores as the Huskies earned wins over Evanston, Fremd and Hersey to win their own event. Aveen Cunningham and Evey Harrell each scored 6 goals as the Wildkits finished the event with a 2-1 mark. Clare Corley and Melissa Loch each tallied 10 scores for Hersey as they went 1-2 for the day.


Stevenson Opens Season With 3-0 Performance

Sophia Berger scored 13 goals and Elsa Kusevskis made 28 saves as te Patriots secured wins over Lyons, LWE and STC North en route to a 3-0 mark at their own tournament. Maya Mladjan recorded 20 goals for second-place Lyons Township, who finished 2-1 with wins over LWE and STC North.
