Caldwell fights for a steal on the other end for Mundelein; Campbell blocks a shot attempt by Jones from the right side

Lin lofts a pass to Wirtz but she is denied a shot by Kurzac

Jones draws an ejection, Honda's shot hits the crossbar, Lodor recovers it and Kurzac's 5m chance is saved by Campbell

Sejna is left open at the point and her 7m shot nestles just inside the top left corner for a 4-1 Central lead!

Sejna's shot comes up short as she eyed the right corner of the goal

And we've reached halftime, with the Redhawks holding onto a 4-2 lead in the final contest of the evening

Kerth draws an ejection, Tylka blocks Fleming's shot over the goal, then Fleming hits the bar and the ball stays out!

Central forces a turnover, then Tylka tips a shot by Wirtz out of play and NC cannot score on the ensuing play

Kurzac finds Jones open for a shot from 5m, but it is tipped out by Campbell

A lob attempt by Kurzac hits the bar; Jones earns a steal on NC's counter attempt

Loose ball falls to Stanley at 5m, but Tylka makes another save late in the period

Jones tries one last shot before the quarter ends, but it goes over the NC goal

Kurzac turns her defender on the right post and lofts a shot into the left corner and it's just the goal Mundelein needed to get back within two of the Redhawks!
