Biggest Impact Plays

BOYS

Alex Waldherr (York)

Waldherr converted the game-winning goal late in the fourth quarter of York's 8-7 win over Lafayette on Saturday.

 

Jakobi McClellan (H-F)

McClellan made a key block on Dave Hir's close-range shot in the final minute of H-F's 18-17 victory over Lockport on Thursday night.

 

GIRLS

Ana Schcolnik (Payton-Jones)

The Grizzlies' goaltender earned her first shutout on Friday night, a 9-0 victory over Washington in a CPS contest.

 

Top Goalie Performances

BOYS

Daniel Gonzalez (Northside)

Gonzalez totaled 24 saves, 10 saves, and a goal in victories over Foreman and Von Steuben during Week 4.

 

GIRLS

Tricia Paul (Lincoln-Way East)

Paul totaled 28 saves in the Griffins' victories over Andrew and LWW on Friday.

 

Biggest Surprises

BOYS

Lincoln-Way North On Fire In Week 4

The Phoenix earned consecutive wins over ranked teams, beating both Andrew and Stagg to move to #19 in the latest poll.

 

Niles West Shocks Waubonsie Valley

The Wolves earned their biggest win in team history, beating Waubonsie Valley 6-4 on Friday night to advance to the first place group of their own tournament.

 

GIRLS

Lincoln-Way East Bounces Back

After losing to Lockport and Sandburg during the week, the Griffins turned things around to advance to the title game of their own tourney by beating Andrew and LWW on Friday.
