-McAuley gets a stop on one end, draws an ejection, and Fran Williamson scores from the right side

-Rachel Chumbook grabs a rebound on the defensive end for Palatine

-Callie Gilsenan tries a shot from 9m that hits the crossbar and the Mighty Macs take over possession

-Caroline Wojtas evens the score with a goal from 5mm

-Geena Peyton elevates to knock down a 7m attempt by Lauren Rasor

-Kim Butler makes two consecutive saves to keep the Pirates level with McAuley

-Chumbook draws an ejection but Peyton makes another save for the Mighty Macs

-Clare Bryar comes into 2m to earn a steal on the defensive end as the final minute approaches

-Rasor forces a turnover as McAuley was getting in close to the goal

-Bryar doesn't miss much when left open, and she scores from 7m to put McAuley ahead 2-1

PERIOD 2

-Bryar streaks down the left side and scores less than ten seconds into the period for McAuley

-Bryar strikes again from the point; 3-1 McAuley

-For the third straight time, Bryar scores in the third period to give McAuley a 4-1 advantage

-Palatine gets one back on the other end from Chumbook to make it 4-2

-Williamson scores her second straight goal to put McAuley ahead 6-2

-Timeout (4:58 remaining)

-Palatine draws an ejection but cannot convert and McAuley takes over

-Caitlin McHugh scores from outside 7m to get Palatine back within three of the Mighty Macs

-Butler makes a solid save and Palatine has a chance to setup their offense

-Bryar delivers again from 5m to put McAuley ahead 7-3

-Butler makes a save on McAuley's next trip and Wojtas puts another one on the board for Palatine

-Caroline Wojtas scores another right before the half ends to cut the lead to 7-5

PERIOD 3

-Palatine gets the first chance of the half but it sails over the goal from the left side

-The Pirates' defense holds McAuley without a shot on the other end

-Rasor tries the near side from outside 5m but Peyton makes a save

-Julie Olivares makes a steal but a double-team on Bryar prevents a scoring chance

-Bryar makes a steal on a cross-pool pass attempt by Palatine after an ejection

-Williamson's attempt from 7m was blocked out-of-play after an ejection

-Ejection on the offensive end on Palatine but Butler denies Maggie Hennigan's shot from the left side

-Hennigan drives down the left side and fires a shot that goes across the cage and out-of-play

-Bryar feeds Williamson who streaked towards the right post and she scores the first goal of the half

-Peyton earns a steal on one end and MaryJune O'Connell hits the post on the other end for McAuley

-Chumbook draws an ejection but Palatine quickly turns it over

-Bryar scores immediately after an ejection to put Mother McAuley ahead of Palatine 9-5 after Q3

-Peyton makes a last-second save as the horn sounds

PERIOD 4

-The teams trade turnovers at the start of the final period

-Williamson lights the lamp from seven meters out and McAuley pulls ahead 10-5

-McAuley forces a turnover as they are applying maximum pressure on the Palatine offense

-Williamson scores again to give the Mighty Macs an 11-5 lead

-Butler makes a save as Palatine calls timeout

-Timeout (4:58 remaining)

-Chumbook attempts a shot from the left side that goes wide of the right post

-Bryar connects on the other end for McAuley, getting one just past Butler for a 12-5 advantage

-Chumbook immediately answers back for Palatine; 12-6 McAuley

-Emily Seidl scores her first for Palatine, but Julie Olivares scores from 7m seconds later

-Wojtas scores from the left side to cut the lead to 13-8

-Palatine's steal leads to a breakaway chance for Chumbook, she draws an ejection, and we have a...

-Timeout (1:24 remaining)

-Bryar makes a steal as Palatine tried to force a pass, then made another steal the next time down

-McAuley runs out the clock on a 13-8 win over Palatine

Clare Bryar recorded 7 goals and Fran Williamson notched 5 scores to lead Mother McAuley to a 13-8 win over Palatine. Julie Olivares also scored once as the Mighty Macs outscored the Pirates 6-3 in the second half after they led 7-5 at the half. Caroline Wojtas netted 4 goals, Rachel Chumbook put in 2 scores, and both Caitlin McHugh and Emily Seidl scored once in the loss for Palatine.
