PERIOD 2
- THOMAS WATERS! 3-2 after Waters scores from the right wing after an
ejection
- Linden makes a save on one end after an ejection and then Ignatius is
called for another in transition
- Lyons can't convert and Ignatius is back to full strength
- Sam Szczepaniak converts a penalty shot to tie the game at 3-3
- After an ejection, Tommy Kaptur puts Lyons ahead 4-3 late in the first
half
- MATT MCDONNELL!!! Lyons leads 5-3 with seconds left in the half
- SHANE HUGHES!!!!!!!!! Rebound goal with :00.16 left to cut the Lyons lead
to 5-4 at the break

- Szczepaniak strikes first for LT as the Lions take a 6-4 lead early in the
second half
- Shane Hughes gets one back for the 'Pack to cut the LT lead to 6-5 with
3:54 left in Q3
- SHANE HUGHES!!!!! The junior tips a pass in and ties the game with Lyons
at 6-6 in Q3
- Adam Cardone responds quickly for the Lions and they go back in front 7-6
- The period comes to an end with the Lions holding on to a one-goal lead

- TOMMY KAPTURRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!! The Lions senior makes it 8-6 with 5:04
remaining in Q4
- GOAL! IGNATIUS! GUESS WHO? No I'll just tell you...Shane Hughes scores his
6th and its 8-7 Lyons
- No it's not...9-7 because Tommy Kaptur has caught fire and puts Lyons back
ahead by two
- GOAL! REBOUND! TOMMY KAPTUR! AGAIN! Lyons lead 10-7 over SICP with 3:24
left
- George Lundgren!!!!! 11-7!!!! 2:20 left and Ignatius needs a timeout
- Waters with the hat trick as 44 fans throw their hats in the water and
Lyons leads 12-7 with 1:28 left
- Brendan Stelmach ends the Lyons run to cut the lead to 12-8 in the final
minute
- That's it! Lyons beats St Ignatius 12-8 and will play Stevenson for the
state title tonight at 8pm!!!!!!!
