Sectional Ballers II - Boys' Quarterfinal Edition

 

BOYS

Braden LaMore/Harris Dibek (Conant)

LaMore registered 8 goals and Dibek made 10 saves and blocked a pair of penalty shots in the Cougars' 13-2 victory over Meadows.

 

Chris Iza/Ethan Hamp (Von Steuben)

Iza scored the game-winning goal in overtime and Hamp put in 7 goals as the Panthers outlasted Lane 14-13.

 

Jackson Smith/Kevin Braun (McHenry)

Smith and Braun came up big for the Warriors with goals apiece as they held off Palatine 15-13.

 

Lucas Brace/Won Lee (Niles West)

Lee led the offense with 7 goals while Brace scored 3 times, made 5 steals and did not allow a goal on the defensive end in the Wolves' 22-6 win over Evanston.

 

Jake Noel/Nate Reiff (Wheeling)

Reiff recorded 5 goals and Noel scored 4 times as the duo helped put together a 4-0 run in the final period to help lift the Wildcats over Buffalo Grove 10-6.

 

Joey Dalesandro/Troy Salafatinos/Jordan Beck (NV)

Dalesandro (7 steals) and Salafatinos (5 blocks) both put in 4 goals and Beck stopped 16 shots and made 3 steals to help the Wildcats fend off Metea Valley 15-13.

 

John Sandman/Joe Gibson (St Patrick)

Sandman connected on the game-winner with nine seconds left in regulation while Gibson scored 3 times as St Patrick earned a 9-8 comeback win over Curie.

 

Matt Magee/Jon Jon Pettinger (Naperville North)

Magee scored 5 times and Pettinger notched 4 scores in the Huskies' 18-9 victory over STC East.
