Week 3 Super Ballers

Lawrence Cozzi/Thomas Wolfe (Oak Park)

Wolfe recorded 4 goals to lead the Huskies' offense in a win over Waubonsie Valley and also chipped in with a pair of scores in Oak Park's victory over R-B earlier in the week. He also scored 8 goals and helped OPRF finish with two wins at the Fenwick Tournament at the end of Week 2.

Cozzi contributed 4 goals in the Week 3 wins over R-B and Waubonsie Valley. He also led the Huskies with 10 goals at the Fenwick Tournament at the tail end of Week 2.

Together, Cozzi and Wolfe have helped the Huskies break out to a 7-3 start and into the Top 25 in 2016.

GIRLS

Cassidy Degraff (Lincoln-Way North)

Degraff totaled 22 goals, 16 steals and 13 assists for the Phoenix as they claimed the LWE Tournament title over the weekend. North earned three straight wins and beat the hosts in the event's title game 18-13.

Degraff scored 10 goals in the final game against LWE, with 7 of those scores coming in the second half.

North improved to 7-3 and up to the #13 spot in this week's rankings.
