Week 3 & 4 Ballers

 

BOYS

Ben Lulich/Nate Fisher/Payton Comstock (Fenwick)

Lulich, Fisher and Comstock each scored 13 goals as the Friars defeated DLS, Mt Carmel, Niles West, St Ignatius and York during Week 3.

 

Charlie Freedman/Tony Spallone/Jake Carr (Loyola)

Freedman and Spallone both scored 7 goals and Carr made 29 saves to help the Ramblers finish with a 3-1 record at the York Tournament with wins over Mundelein, Niles West and SLUH. Spallone also led Loyola with 4 scores in a 10-4 win over St Patrick during Week 4.

 

Isaac Marlott (York)

Marlott totaled 19 goals during Week 3 as the Dukes earned wins over Oak Park, Mundelein, New Trier and Sandburg.

 

Joey Jenkot/Josh Grella/Kyle Fox (Sandburg)

Jenkot (20 goals, 16 assists), Grella (18 goals, 13 assists) and Fox (14 goals, 9 assists) helped the Eagles win the Maine East Tournament while posting a 5-1 record during Week 3.

 

 

 

GIRLS

Abbie Lukas (Mundelein)

Lukas totaled 17 goals to help the Mustangs finish in second place at the Lyons Tournament at the end of Week 3 and also netted 12 scores earlier in the week against GBN and New Trier.

 

Anna Mossakowski (Stevenson)

Mossakowski and the Patriots' defense allowed less than 5 goals per game in a pair of wins over Evanston and Fenwick during Week 3.

 

Kaysie Stuba (Lyons)

Stuba scored 21 goals to help the Lions claim their own tournament title after wins over Evanston, Mundelein and LWC. She also poured in 7 scores in a 16-10 victory over York in a key WSC contest.

 

Hanna Good (Lyons)

Good totaled 19 goals throughout Week 3 to help Lyons win their own tournament and recorded a hat trick in midweek games against Mother McAuley and York.

 

Jackie West (Barrington)

West recorded 11 goals in MSL West victories over Hoffman and Palatine.

 

Jill Schultz/Maddie Schultz (Mother McAuley)

Maddie Schultz scored 8 times and Jill Schultz scored 7 goals as the Mighty Macs beat Lyons 9-3 and topped St Ignatius 16-0 during Week 3.

 

Kailey Cordova (Schaumburg)

Cordova totaled 8 scores as the Saxons earned wins over Maine East and Palatine.

 

Olivia Olszewski (Conant)

Olszewski poured in 7 goals in a 12-5 win over Fremd and also scored 4 times in a victory over Hoffman in MSL West action.
