LINCOLNSHIRE, IL - Both teams enter this semifinal game coming off dramatic wins on Friday night. The Vikings stunned defending champion Fenwick 9-6 in Friday's first quarterfinal game, while St Ignatius came from behind to beat Fremd 10-9 in the closing minutes of their contest. Whichever team can ride that momentum into Saturday's semifinal game could end up being the team that plays for a state championship later in the night.

Rebecca Mathews came up big for the Vikings on Friday with seven goals, and head coach Tim Duignan will be hoping for that kind of offensive performance to get them past the Wolfpack. Meanwhile, the Ignatius' offense relies on multiple scoring options, with Celeste Almarez and Kate Stelnicki the usual suspects to convert scoring opportunities for the Wolfpack.

Whichever teams ends up with the win will play for a state title against the winner of Lyons-Naperville Central at 8:00pm on Saturday night.
