Girls Championship Game: St Ignatius (28-4) vs Lyons (34-0)

LINCOLNSHIRE, IL - St Ignatius is the final team standing in the way of a perfect season for Lyons, as the two teams will meet in the state championship game at 8:00pm on Saturday. Both teams are seeking their first ever state championship.

St Ignatius has earned comeback wins in both of their state tournament games, as they beat Fremd 10-9 on Friday and then knocked off Homewood-Flossmoor 14-11 in overtime on Saturday. Lyons earned an 11-3 win over New Trier on Friday night, but needed overtime to beat Naperville Central 7-6 in the semifinals on Saturday.
