Aly Ahmed (Conant)

The Cougars' should be in good hands for the rest of the season as Ahmed has emerged as a tremendously skilled goaltender and already made an impact in Conant's 12-5 win over Barrington on Tuesday and nearly helped them surprise Fremd in an 8-7 loss on Thursday. He totaled 21 saves in the two contests and made 7 steals in the loss to the Vikings.

Tony Romo (Whitney Young)

Romo scored 2 goals in the Dolphins' 12-7 victory over Von Steuben on Tuesday and the junior could play a vital role for a team looking for additional scoring options to compliment leading scorer Seth Hughes.

Kaela Codo (Naperville Central)

Codo scored 5 goals as the Redhawks' freshman helped her team place second at their own tournament over the weekend.

Rebecca Dabrowski (McHenry)

Dabrowski scored 4 goals for McHenry in a narrow loss to STC East and played a key role for the Warriors at the Evanston Tournament over the weekend. Without a girls' team, she plays her minutes for the McHenry boys' squad in 2013.
