Players To Watch

Vol. VII

Keep an eye out for the following players throughout the rest of the 2013 season:

BOYS

Alex McCormick (LWC)

McCormick totaled 8 goals in recent wins over Bradley and LWW and also scored 8 times at last weekend's Naperville Central Tournament. His improvement could be a factor as the Knights look to turn some heads in the postseason.

Cole Hamilton (Glenbrook South)

Hamilton came off the bench to score 6 goals at the GBS Tournament and could be a major reason the Titans have a deep postseason run in May.

GIRLS

Jordin Hale (Oak Park)

Hale is part a goaltending duo that made 48 saves at the Naperville North Tournament on Saturday, helping OPRF finish the event with a 3-1 record. The sophomore could take over the full-time duties next season when senior Zoe Erickson graduates.

Taylor Stoner (Naperville North)

Stoner is part of a strong freshman class that has Naperville North thinking of a potential state berth; she scored 9 goals in three games over the weekend at North's own tourney.
