Fremd is the top seed, but both Buffalo Grove and Barrington could challenge
the Vikings and make this one of the tightest sectional finishes on Saturday
Where do we begin with the Barrington sectional? Fremd comes in as the number one seed, but both Barrington and Buffalo Grove will have a lot to say come Saturday's championship game. Fremd beat both teams in the regular season, but will need to play their best game in order to get to state. They survived a scare from Hoffman Estates early this year, as the Hawks have gone 6-9 this season and are a major sleeper in this sectional as a five seed. On the other side of the bracket, Barrington has the advantage of playing in their all-deep, eight-lane facility. However, Buffalo Grove's Amanda Wiest could make a huge difference both on offense ande defense, and could be a major factor in Buffalo Grove's chances of winning out over Barrington and Fremd.
