York held Neuqua Valley scoreless in the second half and Tyler Cruse scored
three goals to lift #20 York past Neuqua Valley on Thursday night. With the
score tied 4-4 at halftime, Dukes' goalie Zack Zusag kept the Wildcats off
the scoreboard, while Cruse and Andrew McClintock (2 goals) provided enough
offense to put York ahead for good in the second half. It was York's fifth
win in a row; next on the horizon for the Dukes is a home game with
conference rival Oak Park on April 6.

Fremd outscored York 3-1 in the fourth quarter en route to an 8-6 victory on Thursday night in Palatine. Kaitlin Kulick scored on a rebound off her own miss to put the Vikings ahead 7-5 midway through the final period, but York was able to cut the lead 7-6 moments later. The Dukes had a chance to tie the score on a powerplay with under two minutes to play, but they missed on two powerplay shot opportunities. Kulick scored on a backhand in the final minute to clinch the win for Fremd.

Kulick scored six goals to lead Fremd to the win, while Emily Hatz led York with four scores, two assists, and eight steals. Ellie Olszewski was a key factor in the win for the Vikings, pulling in thirteen saves and recording two assists.
