O'Connor scored on a four-meter penalty shot with no time remaining to give
Northside Prep a win over Lane on Monday night. With the score tied at 10,
NSP goalie Tom Rodriguez took a
last-second shot from the deep end, but a Lane defender jumped off the
bottom and blocked the shot as the buzzer sounded, giving Northside Prep the
penalty shot opportunity. With no time left on the clock, O'Connell stepped
up to nail the four-meter shot to win the game.
