Andrew, BG, Hoffman, Lake Forest, and Maine West join the North Stars for a nine game event that gets underway on Saturday morning before breaking into the championship round in the afternoon.

Katie Difiglio scored 5 goals and both Katie Quinn and Katie Steele netted 2 score as the hosts started the event with a 10-0 victory over Hoffman. Claire Rich earned the shutout win in front of a solid defensive effort from the North Stars.

Lake Forest 9 STC North 8

The Scouts outlasted the hosts 9-8 to advance to the event's title game on Saturday afternoon. Abby Warren poured in 7 goals and both Clare Wieland and Grace Donahue each scored once in the win for Lake Forest. Katie Difiglio totaled 3 goals and 7 steals while Katie Quinn added 2 goals in the losing effort. Abby Ponte, Kate Gibson, and Katie Steele each added one goal and Claire Rich made 5 saves in the loss.

Lake Forest 11 Hoffman 2

Clare Wieland recorded 3 goals and the trio of Abby Warren, Elise Vondra, and Madeleine Pompe each put in 2 goals in the Scouts' 11-2 win over Hoffman.

STC North 8 Buffalo Grove 6

Abby Ponte, Katie Difiglio, and Sarah Gibson all registered 2 goals and Claire Rich made 9 saves as the North Stars beat Buffalo Grove to claim third place at their own event on Saturday. Brittany Veto led the defense with 5 steals (plus one goal) while Katie Quinn totaled one goal and 4 assists.

Lake Forest 9 Andrew 2

Abby Warren netted 4 goals and Clare Wieland added 3 scores as Lake Forest beat Andrew 9-2 to win the STC North Tournament.
