BOYS

Grant Gucinski (Waubonsie Valley) - Recorded a team-high 8 goals in the Warriors 19-4 win over STC North, then totaled 5 goals to lift the Warriors past Neuqua Valley 11-8.

 

Nathan LeRoy (Loyola) - Tallied 9 goals in a 25-5 rout of St Viator in the opening round, then followed that performance with 4 goals in a 18-4 rout of GBS. He finished the weekend with 4 goals as the Ramblers advanced to state with a 13-5 win over Evanston.

 

Dave Steinberger (Andrew) - Led Andrew to an opening round win over H-F at the LWC Tournament with 4 total goals.

 

John Mikuzis (Neuqua) - Scored 8 goals as the Wildcats defeated Hinsdale South 15-12.

 

Ryan Alberts (Naperville Central) - The Redhawks leading scorer had 5 goals in a 19-10 win over STC East.

 

Matt Travnik (LWC) - Totaled 4 goals to lead the Knights to a 24-10 win over Bremen in the first round and 4 scores in a 14-11 victory over Lockport.

 

Alex Buck (Naperville North) - Alex led the Huskies to the second round with 7 goals in a 15-10 win over Hinsdale Central.

 

Bryan Engnall (Lockport) - Recorded 3 goals in a 12-7 win over Bradley.

 

Jon Christensen (Sandburg) - Christensen scored 5 times in the Eagles 20-6 victory over Mt Carmel.

 

Willie Rossberger (Buffalo Grove) - Tallied 3 goals as the Bison beat Hoffman Estates 8-6.

 

Whitaker Davis (Palatine) - Davis was the leading scorer for the Pirates in 14-2 win over Schaumburg.

 

Jon del Prado (Fremd) - Scored 5 goals to lead the Vikings to an 11-9 win over Barrington, then scored twice to lead Fremd over Conant 7-6 in the semifinals.

 

Adam Dickelman (Fremd) - Made 14 saves in Fremd's 11-9 comeback win over Barrington on Wednesday, then saved 19 shots in Fremd's 7-6 semifinal win over Conant on Friday night.

 

Brett Krahn (Conant) - Krahn had 8 goals in the Cougars 16-7 defeat of Rolling Meadows.

 

Ryan Alberts (Naperville Central) - Alberts scored 6 goals to lead the Redhawks past Naperville North 18-9.

 

Tim Silkaitis (Evanston) - Scored 4 times to lead Evanston to a 10-9 win over New Trier at the GBN Sectional.

 

Peter Cosentino (Lyons) - Peter scored 5 goals in the Lions 10-3 semifinal win over St Rita.

 

Skylar Davis (Palatine) - Led the Pirates to a 20-8 win over Buffalo Grove with 5 goals, then added 6 goals in Palatine's 12-6 sectional final win over Fremd.

 

Matt Neimeier (Sandburg) - Scored 4 goals as the Eagles defeated Brother Rice 8-5.

 

John Mikuzis (Neuqua) - The Wildcats' frosh scored 4 goals in a losing cause against Waubonsie (11-8 loss).

 

Jason Ament (LWE) - Ament had 9 goals in an 18-4 win over Andrew, plus he scored 4 goals in a 12-8 win over Lincoln-Way Central in the sectional finals.

 

Tyler Olsen (Naperville Central) - Helped the Redhawks advance to state with 3 goals in a 9-6 win over Waubonsie.

 

 

GIRLS

Heather Gardner (Naperville Central) - Scored 2 goals off the bench to help Central beat STC East 15-1 in the first round.

 

Brittany Walk (Naperville Central) - Allowed only 1 goal and made 10 saves as the Redhawks beat STC East 15-1.

 

Mae Harris (Lyons) - Recorded 7 goals as Lyons advanced to the semifinals of the Sandburg sectional in a 17-9 win over Richards.

 

Kathleen Patterson (Neuqua) - Tallied 4 goals to lead the Wildcats to a 14-5 win over STC North.

 

Rachel Japp (LWE) - Registered 3 goals to help the Griffins beat Lockport 11-3.

 

Michelle Mulhall (Sandburg) - Scored 5 goals to lift the Eagles past Morgan Park 18-3 on Thursday night.

 

Karina Kennedy (Stagg) - The Chargers advanced to the semifinals behind Karina's 5-goal performance in a 13-1 win over Bremen.

 

Heather Stephenson (Hinsdale South) - Recorded 4 goals to help the Hornets upset Naperville North 9-8.

 

Stacey Fisher (Andrew) - Scored 5 goals in a 10-8 victory over Bradley.

 

Lucia Crivolio (Conant) - Scored twice in overtime to lift the Cougars past Buffalo Grove 10-8.

 

Lizzie Stetson (Barrington) - Tallied 5 goals as the Fillies coasted to a 23-4 victory over Schaumburg, and added 4 goals to help Barrington beat Conant 17-8.

 

Kaitlin Kulick (Fremd) - Recorded 5 goals as Fremd beat Hoffman Estates 15-3 in the opening round.

 

Colleen Briggs (Meadows) - Led the Mustangs to a first round win over Palatine with 6 goals scored.

 

Sarah Ostling (St Viator) - The Lions' senior scored 5 goals in the first four minutes of a 7-2 win over Glenbrook South.

 

Lauren Fairburn (P/W) - Scored 4 goals to help the Wild Knights get past Hersey 10-5 on Thursday night.

 

Emily Watson (LWC) - Knights' driver scored 5 goals as LWC beat H-F 9-5 in the semifinals on Friday night.

 

Maggie Wood (McAuley) - Helped McAuley reach the sectional final with 6 goals in a 14-6 win over Lyons.

 

Kara Wilson (Naperville Central) - Wilson led the Redhawks to a 14-5 win over Hinsdale Central with 4 goals.

 

Ashley Rebou (Conant) - Scored 4 goals as Conant fell to top-seeded Barrington 17-8.

 

Colleen Shaw (Loyola) - Shaw led the Rambers with 6 goals in a 15-6 win over Prospect/Wheeling.

Allie Hamm (New Trier) - Helped the Trevians advance to the sectional final with 3 goals in an 8-6 win over St Viator.

Paige Neubel (Mundelein) - Allowed just 1 goal as the Mustangs advanced to the Vernon Hills Sectional final with a 7-1 win over Libertyville.

 

Kaitlin Kulick (Fremd) - Led Fremd to a 15-8 win over Rolling Meadows with 10 goals.

 

Lisa Heidkamp (Hinsdale Central) - Scored the game-winning goal to help the Red Devils advance to the second round in a 6-5 win over Waubonsie Valley on Thursday night.

 

Nora Kennelly (St Ignatius) - Recorded 5 goals to lift the Wolfpack past Latin 10-2 at the UIC Sectional.

 

Elisa Menis (Naperville Central) - Led the Redhawks to a 5-3 win over Neuqua Valley in the WV Sectional title game.

 

Jackie Sershon (Loyola) - Tallied 4 goals as Loyola advanced to state with an 11-7 triumph over New Trier.

 

Jacie Dick (Barrington) - Scored 4 times as Barrington qualified for state with an 8-5 win over Fremd.

 

Sarah Cempel (LWE) - Scored the game-winning goal in overtime as LWE beat LWC 6-5 to advance to state.

 

Christine Menzenberger (LWE) - Registered 21 saves as the Griffins won a 6-5 overtime game over LWC.
