GIRLS

Lisa Rudolph (Waubonsie Valley)

.

Lisa scored four second half goals, including the game-winner with 0:20 seconds left to lead Waubonsie Valley to a 7-6 comeback win over Latin on Thursday night. Rudolph has helped the Warriors earn a 14-8 record in 2005, and they improved to 13th in the state with the win as they head towards Sectionals.

 

Terri Bukofzer (Stevenson)

.

Terri scored seven goals in a 17-4 win over Waubonsie Valley earlier in the week, then helped the Patriots to a 3-0 record at the Stevenson Tournament on Saturday. The leading scorer for the Patriots this season tallied three goals in a 9-5 win over #5 Homewood-Flossmoor to clinch the tournament title, and she has led Stevenson's 24-3-1 record in 2005.

 

 

BOYS

Grant Gucinski (Waubonsie Valley)

.

Grant scored three goals in an 8-7 overtime win over Stevenson on Tuesday night, including the game-winner in overtime from the left wing with only 0:25 seconds left to play. He also drew two ejections and a four-meter penalty and recorded three assists in the win. Grant is the leading scorer for the Warriors, who have posted a 20-9 record this season.

 

Jamie Friedland (Latin)

.

Jamie helped Latin earn wins over St Rita and Waubonsie Valley in the final week of the regular season, and has played a major role in the Romans' 17-4 record this season. He scored the game-winner in a 4-3 win over Waubonsie Valley, as his shot from the left wing broke a tie with under three minutes left to play. He scored two of the four goals in the game for the Romans and also drew two ejections in the victory.
