-The Friars get the first possession but Duin earns a steal to give the Huskies the ball

-Offensive foul called on Curia as he was set to unleash a shot

-Roberts ends up getting his hands on a deflected pass and the Huskies get their second chance

-McGuire blocks Roberts' shot but Nyland puts in the rebound for a 1-0 North lead

-Perez turns the ball over on one end, then McGuire tips a shot by Curia out of play

-Roberts misses but North earns an ejection as they keep the ball; McGuire with another save

-Farmer earns a steal and later assists Bresnahan on a goal as Fenwick ties the game at 1-1

-McGuire denies Duin's shot and Bertschy scores on the other end to give Fenwick a 2-1 lead

-Nyland earns a penalty for North...Roberts converts to the left corner and we are tied at 2-2

-Farmer drew an ejection but Curia makes a steal to keep the game even

-The teams trade possessions without any major scoring chances

-Farmer has a shot go over the goal and North takes possession

-Landiak's shot is off the mark, Fenwick earns an ejection, but the Friars cannot score on the other end

-Late ejection called on Fenwick and Naperville North takes a timeout

-McClure scores immediately after the timeout to put the Huskies ahead 3-2 after one period

PERIOD 2

-Shabel blocks Farmer's attempt at the start of the second quarter

-McLean draws an ejection and Bresnahan scores immediately to tie the game at 3-3

-Farmer gets position and gives the Friars their first lead; 4-3 Fenwick

-McGuire blocks a shot and starts the counterattack, but Shabel denies Bresnahan's chance

-Offensive foul called on the Huskies

-Shabel blocks Calderon's shot out of play and Fenwick gets the ball again

-Shabel with another save, then Fenwick forces a turnover at the other end

-Bresnahan assists McLean on a goal to give the Friars a 5-3 advantage

-Farmer feeds Calderon and his goal gives the Friars a 6-3 lead

-Big stop for the Huskies after an ejection

-Curia scores at the other end to get the Huskies back within two; 6-4 Fenwick

-Curia scores again and the Fenwick lead is trimmed to 6-5

-McLean hits the crossbar and the Huskies have a chance to tie the game in the final minute

-Maybe not, as they quickly turn it over and Fenwick takes over on offense

-Calderon's seven meter attempt is blocked by Shabel

-Roberts gets a hand on Bresnahan's shot and the Huskies will play for the last shot

-Nothing doing for the Huskies as Fenwick leads 6-5 at the half

FENWICK 6 NAPERVILLE NORTH 5

PERIOD 3

-Landiak picks up his third ejection and Bresnahan scores to put Fenwick ahead 7-5

-After a stop, Calderon converts a rebound goal after Roberts made a field block; 8-5 Fenwick

-North earns an ejection and they call timeout

-Penalty awarded to North, which is also Farmer's second major foul

-Roberts' shot bounces in off the right post to cut the lead to 8-6!

-The Huskies make a stop, the Friars do the same, then Farmer draws an ejection on Curia

-Fenwick timeout

-The Friars can't do anything with their 6-on-5 and the Huskies take over

-McClure blocks Calderon's outside shot

-Offensive foul on North and Farmer scores at the other end to put Fenwick ahead 9-6

-McGuire makes a big save after an ejection and the Friars remain ahead by three goals

-The Huskies draw an ejection but McLean blocks Duin's outside shot attempt

-Curia's backhand is negated by an offensive foul call, even though McGuire blocked the attempt

-Masi makes a perimeter steal but Nash gets back to strip Calderon and prevent a shot

-Nothing doing in the closing seconds as the teams go into the final period with Fenwick ahead 9-6

FENWICK 9 NAPERVILLE NORTH 6

PERIOD 4

-White tries a long-range effort that hits the post and the Huskies take over

-Danny Farmer blocks Roberts' shot from seven meters out

-Fenwick earns an ejection and Bresnahan quickly scores to give Fenwick a 10-6 advantage

-White connects from five meters to give Fenwick an 11-6 lead

-Curia's lob shot falls in to help get the Huskies within four goals of the Friars midway through the period

-Nash and Farmer trade steals and then McClure earns another steal for North

-Curia earns a penalty and Roberts converts it and North cuts the lead to 11-8

-North with a stop and Curia scores again on a lob and it's 11-9 with 2:25 remaining

-Fenwick timeout - 2:25 left

-The North defense forces a turnover but McGuire makes a save at the other end for Fenwick

-Matt Farmer draws Duin's third ejection, Roberts is also kicked out, and Bresnahan scores from the right!

-McGuire saves an outside shot by Nash as the Friars will look to whittle the clock under one minute

-North with a stop and they call timeout with 0:30 left

-A late goal by Roberts cuts the Fenwick lead to 12-10

-Fenwick runs the clock out and moves to the state title game with a 12-10 win over Naperville North
