-Kozokar wins the swim-off and Mundelein starts with it; Klock intercepts a pass and LWC gets it

-First save of the game credited to Ward on a five-meter attempt by the Knights

-Howe fights off Boothe to earn a steal at the other end

-Ward makes a save, passes ahead to Boothe but she can't get her attempt to cross the goal-line

-Boothe looked to have Foglton in trouble but the Knights' goalie was saved by a foul call

-Senese tries a lob from the right that bounces off the left post and stays out

-Boothe draws the games' first ejection and assists Perrault on the first goal of the game!

-The Mundelein defense is winning the battle early on as they force another turnover

-Barron's lob from the far right sneaks in the left corner and it's 2-0 Mundelein

-Foglton tips a shot out and Jackovich later earns a steal

-Perrault breaks up a counterattack chance for the Knights

-Ward makes a save; Boothe drew a foul and then an ejection

-Mundelein timeout - 1:21 remaining

-Perrault's lefty attempt from the right wing goes over the goal; she earns a steal at the other end

-Jackovich draws a kickout but Senese rocks the left post and Mundelein gains possession

-LWC gets a stop but cannot score as the quarter comes to an end

PERIOD 2

-The Mustangs get the ball first, draw an ejection, and Kozokar scores to make it 3-0!

-Central's first chance hits the post; McLean forces a turnover at the other end

-Jackovich scores from the right post to cut the lead to 3-1

-Jackovich drew an ejection but Ward blocks McLean's outside shot

-Foglton makes a save for LWC; the Mustangs' defense forces a turnover

-Jackovich drove to the right post but was swarmed by two defenders

-Kozokar passes ahead to Perrault who draws an ejection but it comes to nothing

-Senese rattles the crossbar from the point and Mundelein takes over

-The Knights' defense holds up and we remain at 3-1

-Klock is left alone in the middle and she scores from five meters to make the score 3-2

-LWC steal and Jackovich scores on the counter with a defender on her to make it 3-3

-Now it's the Central defense on top, as they look to take the lead after a steal

-McLean with a steal; Howe fires from seven meters and Ward can't control it and it crosses the line!

-The Mustangs draw an ejection but turn the ball over

-The half ends with Central leading 4-3 after a 4-0 run!

-Perrault was open in the closing seconds but her goal came after the horn sounded

LWC 4 MUNDELEIN 3

PERIOD 3

-Jackovich scores right away for the Knights on their first possession of the second half

-The teams trade possessions and Wienckowski shoots over the goal from two meters

-Kozokar with a steal and tries an outside shot in transition that Foglton blocks

-Ward returns the favor on the other end, then Kozokar draws an ejection

-Barron's shot is blocked out-of-play by Foglton; Foglton collects another Mundelein attempt

-McLean assists Howe on a goal from the left side to make it 6-3!

-Kozokar rifles a shot in from mid-pool to stop the Central run; 6-4 LWC

-Robb finds Barron on a drive but Foglton blocks her shot

-Ward tips an attempt by Klock off the post and Mundelein takes over

-Boothe scores from seven meters to trim the LWC lead to 6-5

-LWC timeout - 2:19 remaining

-The Mustangs force a turnover, Boothe hits the crossbar but Emily East follows the shot to score!

-Howe responds immediately to put Central back in front 7-6

-Jackovich prevents a counterattack chance for the Mustangs as we hit the final minute of the period

-Kozokar with a steal but McLean does the same on the other end

-Perrault with a big field block on Senese at the end of the quarter

PERIOD 4

-McLean left alone on the left side but Ward makes a save; Dundek with a steal on the other end

-Ward makes a terrific save to deny Klock, who then lobs over the goal on Central's next chance

-Boothe hits the left post with an outside shot attempt

-Team defense leads to a steal by Mundelein

-Jackovich intercepts a pass into set and Central has a counterattack chance

-Offensive foul called on the other end as Mundelein has a chance to tie

-Double-ejection called on Boothe and Jackovich

-LWC timeout - 3:58 left

-Wienckowski earns a steal and McLean does the same on the other end for LWC

-Foglton comes out of the crease to earn a steal with 3:00 left

-Howe's outside shot sails over the goal; Jackovich with a steal at the other end

-Jackovich drew a foul outside five meters but her shot was blocked

-Wienckowski's shot from five meters is directly at Foglton

-Senese is open at two meters and she beats Ward to make the score 8-6!

-Wienckowski draws an important ejection and Mundelein calls timeout

-Perrault finds Boothe open up top and she scores to make it 8-7!

-Mundelein with a stop and Robb is open on the counter but Jackovich forces as turnover

-The Mustangs with a stop and they will have one last chance to tie and do the smart thing and call time

-Foglton tips Kozokar's shot off the crossbar and Klock earns a steal as LWC takes a timeout
