Dylan Sterling added 2 goals and Matt Klock scored once in the winning effort. Sam Lilly scored 5 times, Jack Williams registered 3 scores and Joe Muehlschlegel blocked 9 shots in the loss for the North Stars.

Makayla Koconis-O'Malley scored 5 goals and Jasmin Rivera scored 3 times as Lane defeated Northside 10-2 on Thursday evening. Beth Zelenka and Joanne Phan each scored once in the loss for the Mustangs.

Megan Cales and Nicole McCabe each scored 3 times as the Knights fended off STC North 10-8. Sarah Gibson tallied 4 scores and Olivia Traxler netted 2 goals in the losing effort.

 

Lyons 15 Hinsdale South 13

Mari Vulich totaled 6 goals, Nora Ahrens scored 3 times and Zoe Trujillo notched 2 scores as the Lions got past Hinsdale South 15-13 on Thursday.

 

Meadows 7 Maine East 5

Maggie Goodwin registered 3 scores and Betsy Zanocco notched 2 scores in the Mustangs' 7-5 win over Maine East. Emily Walters and Rylan Bratek both added one goal in the winning effort.

 

Naperville Central 17 Glenbrook South 3

Emily Westlove and Rylee Brower each scored 4 goals and Sara Campbell made 8 saves to help Central earn a 17-3 victory over GBS in the season-opener for both teams. Alli Hansen, Jodie Nelson and Emily Wagner each added 2 goals for the winners. Kelly Klish scored 2 times in the loss for the Titans.

 

Oak Park 8 Waubonsie Valley 6

Tamsen Cronin scored 4 goals and Kaitlyn Peterson made 7 saves as the Huskies defeated Waubonsie Valley 8-6 on Thursday. Addie Steward-Nolan scored once and registered 4 assists while Sara Flynn made an impact with 6 saves for the winners.
