Libertyville 17 Shepard 8

Ben Sutter and Scott Villiard each scored 4 goals and Jack Otto blocked 13 shots as the Wildcats earned a 17-8 win over Shepard. Billy Becker added 3 goals in the winning effort.

 

Libertyville 11 Hinsdale Central 11

The Wildcats and Red Devils finished in an 11-11 tie on Saturday afternoon. Billy Becker scored goals, Scott Villiard notched 3 scores and Jack Otto blocked 9 shots for Libertyville.

 

Libertyville 12 R-B 6

Scott Villiard registered 6 goals and Jack Otto made 9 saves in the Wildcats' 12-6 win over R-B.

 

Libertyville 4 Bradley 1

Ben Sutter scored 2 goals, both Scott Villiard and Ted Stevens scored once and Jack Otto made 10 saves as the Wildcats defeated Bradley 4-1 to win the Boilers' event.

 

 

CONANT TOURNAMENT

Glenbrook South 8 Conant 8

The Titans and Cougars finished the first game of the boys' tournament in an 8-8 tie. Bryan Lee made 11 saves for GBS. Stats for Conant coming soon.

 

Conant 9 STC North 4

Burke scored 4 goals and Cory Pedro scored 3 times in the Cougars' 9-4 triumph over STC North. Siba Filipovic scored 2 goals and Joe Muehlschlegel made 6 saves in the loss.

 

Glenbrook South 15 STC North 9

Brendan Chang recorded 5 goals, Odyseas Lazarou netted 4 scores and Nate Cohen scored 2 times in the Titans' 15-9 victory over STC North. Aiden Clippenger also stopped 5 shots for the victors. Sam Lilly put in 4 goals, Jack Williams notched 3 scores and Joe Muehlschlegel made 6 saves in the loss.

 

York 16 STC North 8

Alex Marlott recorded 5 goals and both Isaac Marlott and Nik Miklyukh tallied 3 scores as the Dukes got past STC North 16-8.

 

York 7 Glenbrook South 4

Alex Marlott netted 4 goals, Nik Miklyukh scored 2 goals and Parker Hicks scored once as the Dukes beat GBS 7-4.

 

York 5 Conant 5

The Dukes and Cougars finished the event in a 5-5 draw. Alex Marlott scored 3 goals while Nik Miklyukh and Parker Hicks each scored once for York.

 

 

JONES-PAYTON TOURNAMENT

Jones-Payton 17 Julian 5

Cal Jaques scored 2 goals as the Eagles started the event with a 17-5 win over Julian. Jeremiah Hill put in 4 scores in the losing effort.

Ethan Hamp recorded 13 goals to lead the Panthers to a 19-12 victory over Northside. Max Repetuk put in 5 goals in the loss for the Mustangs.

Ricardo Montoya registered 6 goals for the Caravan in a 19-8 win over Julian. Jeremiah Hill scored 4 times in the loss.

Max Repetuk netted 8 goals and Taber Skiba notched 7 scores in Northside's 22-6 win over Prosser.

Nassim Oulhadj scored 4 goals and Leo Redican made 10 saves as the hosts edged the Caravan 8-7.

Ethan Hamp, Keilland Merritt and Yousif Salah each scored 3 times in the Panthers' 14-10 victory over Prosser. Bryant Gonzalez scored 6 times in the losing effort.

Jeremiah Hill registered 8 goals to lead the Jaguars to a 13-4 win over Prosser.

Ricardo Montoya scored 2 goals to help lift the Caravan over Northside 8-4.

Naperville North 18 Waubonsie Valley 6

Chris Popiolek, Cole Jacobs and Jon Jon Pettinger each scored 4 times and Nick Zillier tallied 3 scores in the Huskies' 18-6 win over Waubonsie Valley.

 

Naperville Central 15 Neuqua Valley 2

Matt Reagan registered 5 scores and Kent Emden made 8 saves as the Redhawks built a 9-0 halftime lead en route to a 15-2 victory over Neuqua Valley. Bender Russo also totaled 2 goals and 4 steals in the win, while Christian Fleming, Dominic May, Luke Klein-Collins, Lucas Nervig, Michael Stern and Nolan Vaughan all scored once for the defending champs.

 

Metea Valley 17 Waubonsie Valley 4

Ashton Howser, Alex Smith and Tyler Flanders each tallied 4 scores in the Mustangs' 17-4 win over WVHS. Wyatt Tiscareno scored 2 times in the loss for the Warriors.

 

Naperville North 15 Neuqua Valley 10

Cole Jacobs poured in 6 goals and Jon Jon Pettinger scored 5 times as the Huskies defeated Neuqua Valley 15-10 to collect their second win of the night. Jack Hiss and Matt Townsend each scored 3 times in the losing effort.

Luke Klein-Collins and Nolan Vaughn both scored 3 goals while Bender Russo, Dominic May, Lucas Nervig and Matt Reagan each scored 2 times in the Redhawks' 16-1 win over Metea Valley. Alex Smith scored once in the loss for the Mustangs.

New Trier 17 Palatine 4

Henry Yavitt recorded 5 goals to lead the Trevians past Palatine 17-4. Remy Musikantow added 3 scores while both Danilo Scekic and Sam Yavitt scored 2 times for NTHS. Dylan White and Glenn Ingebritson both scored 2 times in the loss for the hosts.

 

Loyola 6 Mundelein 6

John Merucci and Tony Spallone both scored 2 goals for Loyola while Nick Oleinik tallied 4 scores for Mundelein as the Ramblers and Mustangs finished in a 6-6 tie on Friday. Jake Carr made 9 saves in his debut in goal for Loyola while Shane Stanley stopped 11 shots and 2 penalty attempts for Mundelein.

 

Oak Park 5 St Ignatius 5

The Huskies and Wolfpack finished the third game of the event tied at 5-5. Abe Zuraw, Aidan Crosby, Dan Franklin, Thomas Cozzi and Thomas Wolfe each scored once and Kevin Corotis stopped 9 shots for OPRF. Gus Enger led the SICP offense with 2 goals in the draw.

 

New Trier 17 Homewood-Flossmoor 9

Danilo Scekic and Henry Yavitt each scored 6 goals, Mason McQuet notched 3 scores and Sam Yavitt put in 2 scores in the Trevians' 17-9 win over H-F. Henry Kreis, Scott Klupchak and Travis Tanner each netted 2 goals in the loss for the Vikings.

 

Loyola 10 Curie 5

John Merucci totaled 5 goals and 5 steals while Jake Carr made 6 saves and Charlie Caestecker scored his first career goal as the Ramblers defeated Curie 10-5. Charlie Freedman also scored 2 goals for the victors. Omar Pantoja tallied 3 scores in the loss for the Condors.

 

St Ignatius 17 McHenry 10

Andreas Christy registered 7 goals while Casey Nurnberger and Moises Lopez scored 3 times to help the Wolfpack get past McHenry 17-10. Bradley Yendro also scored 2 goals in the win. Tyler Hemphill put in 4 goals while Mike Matusek and Jonah Smith each tallied 2 scores in the losing effort.

 

Homewood-Flossmoor 18 Palatine 7

Travis Tanner scored 5 goals and Henry Kreis scored 4 times in the Vikings' 18-7 win over Palatine. Glenn Ingebritson led the Pirates' offense with 3 scores in the loss.

 

Mundelein 11 Curie 7

Nick Oleinik recorded 6 goals to lead the Mustangs past Curie 11-7. Omar Pantoja scored 2 times in the losing effort.

 

McHenry 8 Oak Park 6

Jonah Smith scored 3 goals in the final period to help McHenry earn an 8-6 comeback win over Oak Park. Smith and Mike Matusek both scored 3 times while Tyler Hemphill scored 2 goals in the win. Alex Lavery tallied 3 scores, Thomas Wolfe scored 2 goals and Daniel Franklin put in one score in the loss.

Henry Yavitt scored 4 goals and Danilo Scekic, Mason McQuet, Ryan Escasa and Sam Yavitt each scored 2 goals in the Trevians' 13-5 win over Loyola.

 

Homewood-Flossmoor 7 Mundelein 1

John Weeks, Mike Bonthron and Travis Tanner each scored 2 goals and Joe Humphrey made 12 saves in the Vikings' 7-1 win over Mundelein.

 

Curie 14 Palatine 7

Omar Pantoja scored 4 goals to lead the Condors past Palatine 14-7. Glenn Ingebritson netted 3 scores in the losing effort.

Gus Enger (St Ignatius) scored 4 goals while Wil Edwards (Loyola) notched 3 scores as the Wolfpack and Ramblers finished in a 9-9 tie on Saturday afternoon.

Alex Lavery tallied 4 scores and Daniel Franklin scored 2 times in the Huskies' 8-5 victory over Curie. Abe Zuraw and Thomas Wolfe each added one score in the win.

Thomas Wolfe totaled 5 goals and 5 steals while Kevin Obrecht blocked 10 shots in the Huskies' 14-5 win over Palatine. Abe Zuraw added 3 scores while the trio of Alex Lavery, Ethan Crowley and Thomas Cozzi each put in 2 scores for the victors.

Eric Osuch scored 4 goals, Dan Maleski scored 3 times and Andrew Shashin scored 2 goals as the Patriots beat Niles West 17-6. Francisco Rodriguez tallied 4 goals in the loss for the Wolves.

Derek Warnstedt and Sebastian Lekas each scored 3 goals while Christian Zukowski and Mitch Thompson combined to make 7 saves in a 15-0 shutout victory over Wheeling. Tarun Pothanker and Tony Lee both added 2 scores in the winning effort.

Jazmin Garcia scored 3 goals to help Lane get past Lake Forest 7-1. Catherine Pompe scored once in the losing effort.

 

STC East 11 Lake Forest 1

Sienna Schulte scored 6 goals to lead the Fighting Saints to an 11-1 win over Lake Forest. Grace Landis scored once in the loss for the Scouts.

Reis Parkinson scored 3 goals and both Emma Hernandez and Tina Winter scored 2 times as the Griffins defeated the Bulldogs 11-2. Emily Costella, Jordan Bruni, Katie Meagher and Paige Ruffner each added one goal in the winning effort.

 

 

METEA VALLEY TOURNAMENT

Naperville Central 15 Metea Valley 3

Rylee Brower scored 5 goals and Sara Campbell made 7 saves in the Redhawks' 15-3 victory over Metea Valley. Emily Westlove scored 4 times, Alli Hansen put in 2 goals and Charlotte Albright led the defense with 5 steals.

Rylee Brower scored 3 goals and both Alli Hansen and Emily Westlove (4 steals) scored 2 times in the Redhawks' 10-3 victory over Naperville North. Anne Marie Gunn, Emily Rodgers and Jodie Nelson each added one goal while Sara Campbell made 5 saves. Taylor Wessel scored 2 goals and Isabelle Rocco scored once in the losing effort.

Addie Steward-Nolan scored 2 goals while Kaitlyn Peterson and Sara Flynn teamed up to make 6 saves and earn a shutout in the Huskies' 7-0 win over the hosts. Ellie Kennedy-Wood, Greta Drane, Mary Vanek, Jenna Somberg and Tamsen Cronin each scored once for the winners.

 

Oak Park 11 Meadows 2

Tamsen Cronin registered 4 scores and both Addie Steward-Nolan and Kathryn Raeder scored 2 times in the Huskies' 11-2 win over Meadows. Ellie Kennedy-Wood, Julia Thomason and Nell Behr each added one goal as well for OPRF.

Ellie Kennedy-Wood and Tamsen Cronin each tallied 3 scores as the Huskies beat Hinsdale South 18-2 to win the event.

Lyons 21 Wheeling 0

Frannie Bailey, Hanna Good and Rhyan Komsthoeft each scored 4 goals and Allie Bradbury made 8 saves and earned a shutout in the Lyons' 21-0 win over Wheeling. Annika Moore totaled 2 goals and 5 steals while Abby Ahrens, Olivia Ohm and Maggie Piwowarczyk each added 2 scores for the winners.

 

Lyons 8 Palatine 0

Allie Bradbury (6 saves) earned her second shutout of the day while eight different players scored once in the Lions' 8-0 win over Palatine. Annika Moore (5 steals), Abby Ahrens, Hanna Good, Rhyan Komsthoeft, Frannie Bailey, Olivia Ohm (3 steals), Maggie Piwowarczyk  and Victoria Guevara all scored once in the win.

 

Stevenson 6 Lyons 5

Amelia Eastman, Eileen Hoang, Fiona Gaffney, Julia Nicholson, Lauren Maloney and Kalista Tapas each scored once while Anna Mossakowski and Brigitte Lefebvre each made 6 saves as the Patriots edged LT 6-5 to win their own event. Hanna Good scored 3 goals and Allie Bradbury made 13 saves in the loss. Olivia Ohm and Victoria Guevara also scored one time each for the Lions.
