Redhawks Nearly Takeover Michigan Polo

Madison Nervig scored 9 goals, Kristina Altuve added 7 scores, and Erin Reagan made 29 saves as the Redhawks nearly shocked Rockford on their own turf on Friday night before losing 8-7 in three overtimes. The team responded by beating East Kentwood, Jenison, and Hudsonville to finish in third place at the Jenison Tournament on Saturday.

Michigan's top-ranked team Rockford outlasted Naperville Central 8-7 in three overtimes at the Jenison Tournament on Friday night. Kristina Altuve and Madison Nervig both scored 2 times and Erin Reagan made 9 saves as the Redhawks earned a 7-2 win over Hudsonville to finish in third place at the Jenison Tournament. Kaela Codo, Leslie Calabrese, and Michelle Spaits each scored once in the win for Central.
