O'Connor denies Shannon from in close to keep the Ramblers within two
Loyola turns it over; later Dowdle tries a 9m shot that Sekula saves
Hodur earns a steal; he tries a backhand from 4m but it goes over the goal
Dore's sweep shot from 2m is good and LT goes ahead 4-1
Stauder sails a shot over the goal
McMahon's shot from the point caroms in off the post and Lyons goes
ahead 5-1
Sekula makes a save and Hulseman's rebound attempt somehow misses to the
right of an open goal
Zygas, who had previously been ejected, misses on the other in late in the
period
Goosmann's final shot of the period is wide and to the left of the goal
with two seconds left

Hodur's attempt clips the left post and bounces out-of-bounds
Zygas' shot from 7m is tipped by Hodur
Sekula elevates to deny Loyola's next attempt
Hodur earns a steal; offensive foul on the Ramblers
Lyons turnover; Dowdle and Hulseman both have missed chances on Loyola's
next trip down the pool
The teams trade possessions with nothing doing in a quiet second period
thus far
Sekula denies Hodur's 7m chance; McMahon's outside shot goes wide

Stauder draws an ejection, then Dowdle converts from outside 5m after

starts the LT counterattack
Shannon skips a shot past O'Connor from the left side and Lyons leads

Sekula makes a save; Stauder ejected on the other end...
...and McMahon feeds Shannon with a goal from the left post
Both teams turn the ball over; Goosman's 5m chance goes wide and LT heads
the other way
Hirt get a clean look but hits the post, Dore gets the rebound and this
time Hirt can't miss from 2m!

Dowdle's 5m shot goes over the goal
The next time down, Dowdle connects from the right side to make the

Netzel with a key block; Dore is ejected but Sekula stops Netzel's quick

Sekula forces a turnover after Hodur drove towards 2m
Dowdle earns a steal, but the Ramblers don't get a shot off as time

O'Connor saves a shot to start the period, but Lyons retains possession
Shannon gets open at 4m and takes a pass from Zygas to score his fifth
goal of the game
Sekula blocks Dowdle's 5m shot
Hirt's lob is true from outside and LT has pulled ahead 12-4 early in
the fourth quarter
Stauder miss; Hirt draws a penalty, but O'Connor blocks Zygas' shot
attempt
Hulseman's 7m chance is off-target; Lyons turnover

Netzel drops a pass into 2m for Dowdle and he scores to the left corner
to make it 12-5
Stauder ejected; Dowdle ejected...easy money for Shannon from the left

Sekula makes a save; Lyons turnover
Hodur slots a shot into the left corner from the left wing to cut the
lead to 13-6
Shannon scores from just outside 2m for Lyons
Defensive stand by Lyons and they can run the clock down
Missed chance for Loyola and Sekula will hold the ball for the entire shot

Loyola turnover; Sekula holds it again as the crowd erupts...
...Dore ejected but Stauder hits the post
And that's it! Lyons wins the state tournament by beating Loyola 14-6!
