TOURNAMENT REPORT

 

Preview
Stevenson's weekend in Michigan gets started on Friday with two matches against Huron and Okemos. Oak Park joins the fray on Saturday with a trio of games against Dexter, Pioneer and Saline before the Patriots end the weekend with a contest against Skyline.

Stevenson 11 Saline 4

Melissa Gartenberg scored 5 goals and Allison Travetto added 3 scores to lead the Patriots to an 11-4 win over the tournament hosts on Friday afternoon.

 

Stevenson 15 Okemos 4

Allison Travetto and Melissa Gartenberg both scored 4 goals and Autumn Hoang notched 3 scores to lead the Patriots past Okemos 15-4 on Friday night. Annika Hotchkiss added 2 scores while both Claire Haas and Erin Kempers scored one time in the winning effort.

 

Oak Park 6 Saline 2

Jilly Cronin and Mia Andreoli both scored 2 goals and Jordin Hale made 9 saves as the Huskies earned a 6-2 win over Saline to start the Saline Tournament with a victory. Genevieve Curry and Kevan Casson each added one score for the winners.

 

Stevenson 10 Huron 3

Allison Travetto and Melissa Gartenberg each scored 4 times and Joanie Newland chipped in with 2 goals as the Patriots improved to 3-0 in Michigan with a 10-3 victory over Huron.

 

Oak Park 7 Dexter 3

Genevieve Curry scored 4 goals, Jilly Cronin totaled 3 goals and 3 steals, and goalie Jordin Hale blocked 6 shots as OPRF defeated Dexter 7-3 on Saturday in Michigan.

 

Oak Park 7 Pioneer 3

Genevieve Curry and Mia Andreoli each scored 3 times and Grace Martin put in one score as the Huskies completed a perfect weekend by beating Pioneer 7-3 on Saturday night. Jordin Hale made 7 saves and allowed just 2 goals in the win for OPRF.

 

Stevenson 11 Skyline 5

Allison Travetto recorded 5 goals and both Annika Hotchkiss and Melissa Gartenberg scored 2 times as the Patriots beat Michigan's top-ranked team 11-5 on Saturday night. Autumn Hoang and Erin Kempers both scored once in the win for Stevenson.
