Nick Amendola connected on the game-winning goal from outside five
meters in the final period as the Chargers earned an 8-7 victory over
the Eagles. Mitch Zieler scored 3 times, Alex Serrano put in 2 goals and
Nick Jackson made 18 saves in the losing effort.

Jared Williams and Will Macellaio each scored 5 times while Brennan
Klaassen and Steven Fitzgerald both put in 4 scores as the Eagles
defeated Morgan Park 20-9.

Matt Klock totaled 4 goals and Andrew Smith put in 2 scores as the
Knights knocked off the Warriors 12-6. Jake Burke also blocked 11
shots in the win for Central.

Zach Elias recorded 5 goals and Pat Melaniphy stopped 16 shots in
the Porters' 12-8 victory over Lincoln Way East. Eric Johnson netted
4 goals, Steve Howell scored 2 times and Eric Krawczyk tallied one
score in the winning effort.

The Astros recorded their first win of the 2015 season after beating
Taft 12-3 in a nonconference affair.

Sam Wooley registered 4 goals, Carmen Rosas notched 3 scores
and Maddy Demaret stopped 11 shots in the Cougars' 11-7 road victory
over Mundelein on Thursday. Emily Weingart added 2 goals, both Barbra
Smigla and Miranda Fenlon scored one goal, and Rosas totaled 7 steals
and drew 5 ejections in the win for Conant. Emily Garcia netted 5 scores
in the loss for the Mustangs.
OTHER KEY GAMES
Lyons 10 Morton 5
Caroline Walsh scored 4 scores and drew 4 ejections while Almasa
Duheric totaled 3 goals and 4 steals in the Lions' 10-5 victory over
Morton. Kaysie Stuba added 2 goals, Maddie Cordell notched one
score, and Maddie Janik saved 7 shots in the LT win.
Prospect 10 Buffalo Grove 4
Niki Neumann recorded 5 goals and Lauren Broz made 18 saves to lead
the Knights past Buffalo Grove on Thursday evening. Prospect started
the game on a 4-0 run en route to the win. Danielle McCallister
added 2 goals while the trio of Ann Fulk, Gracie Dix and Megan
Pfeiffer each put in one score for the Knights. Jessi Graziano
netted 2 scores and both Olivia Pontarelli and Sarah Harner scored
one goal in the loss.
Sandburg 14 Stagg 4
Mia Robin scored 4 goals and Sarah Dolitsky netted 2 scores and drew
3 ejections as Sandburg knocked off Stagg 14-4 to stay perfect in
2015. Morgan Bartelment made 9 saves in the win for the Eagles.
Wheeling 14 Meadows 4
Theresa Godlewski scored 7 goals to lead Wheeling past Meadows 14-4.
Sarah Luedloff tallied 2 goals and Betsy Zanocco made 21 saves in
the loss for the Mustangs. Erin Pletch and Lizzie Hardt also scored
once.
