Gilberto Moreno tallied 3 scores and Andreas Wolf, Lucas Gawron, Rodrigo Gonzalez and Shane Nagel all scored 2 times in the Meteors' 15-5 win over Latin. Nathan Darcy also notched his first goal of the season for the winners. Sam Orlin netted 3 goals and Daniel Schwartz scored 2 times in the loss for the Romans.

 

Glenbrook South 11 Evanston 3

Peter Dales and Tommy Hagerty each scored 3 goals and Jack Wells scored 2 times as the Titans beat the Wildkits 11-3. Brendan Chang, Nick Shechtman and Richard Poma each added one tally while Brian Johnson made 13 saves for the winners. Samuel Malaj scored 2 goals and Thomas Fies netted one score in the losing effort.

 

Homewood-Flossmoor 9 Andrew 6

Travis Tanner recorded 5 goals and Luke Santefort made 7 saves as the Vikings emerged with a 9-6 win over Andrew. Johnnie Schmidt scored 2 additional goals while Henry Kries and John Weeks scored one goal apiece for the winners. Brett Hofer scored 3 times and Eric Villasenor netted 2 scores in the loss for the T-Bolts.

Brendan Atwood recorded 5 goals and the trio of Abraham Martinez, Kevin Wendtland and Richie Sevic each scored once in the Warriors' 8-4 win over Maine East. Mark Booge also did not allow a goal and made 6 saves in two periods of

 

Prospect 11 Wheeling 7

Isaac Ginnodo scored 5 goals and Alex Morikado netted 3 goals in the Knights' 11-7 win over Wheeling. Jake Bellows also scored 2 goals for the winners, who dealt the Wildcats their first MSL East loss of the 2016 campaign.

 

Stagg 11 Bradley 7

Tommy Witek registered 4 goals and both Gabe Jezierski and Olaf Wrzesinski scored 2 times to help the Chargers secure an 11-7 victory over Bradley. Lucas Smiarowski also totaled one goal and 6 steals in the win.

 

Stevenson 21 Libertyville 5

Andrew Shashin totaled 6 goals and Collin Kapecki scored 4 times as the Patriots earned a 21-5 victory over Libertyville. Eric Osuch and Kurt Holzer both registered 3 goals while Cristiano Tomasetti and Dan Maleski both scored 2 times for the winners.

 

York 12 St Patrick 3

Tim Evely registered 4 scores to lead the Dukes past the Shamrocks 12-3 on Thursday in nonconference play. Danny Stumpf, Jordan Jopes, Nik Miklyukh and Luke Nowak each added 2 scores as well in the win. Joe Gibson scored 2 goals in the loss for the Shamrocks.

Lincoln-Way East 10 Lincoln-Way Central 7

Nicole McCabe poured in 7 goals to lead the Griffins past LWC 10-7 on Thursday. East remains perfect in the SWSC as they handed the Knights their first conference loss of 2016. Caroline Heathcock added 2 goals, Keara Flaherty totaled one goal and 5 steals and Claire Connors blocked 10 shots for the victors. Kim Bernhard scored 3 times and both Cailey Davern and Erin Muellerschoen scored 2 times in the loss for Central.

Deerfield 12 Glenbrook North 4

Katherine Rogers totaled 9 goals and Naomi Willis scored 3 times to help the Warriors beat GBN 12-4.

 

Evanston 9 Glenbrook South 3

Emma Stein, Riley Hughes and Stephanie Sheikh each scored 2 goals to lead the Wildkits past GBS 9-3 on Thursday. Emily Mohrenweiser, Lana Wolff and Sydney Bernadel rounded out the scoring with one goal apiece for Evanston.

 

Homewood-Flossmoor 9 Andrew 8 (OT)

Emily Mathews scored the go-ahead goal and Alexis Anderson scored the eventual game-winner as the Vikings outlasted Andrew 9-8 in overtime on Thursday. Mathews led the Vikings with 3 goals, Brooke Pair and Kalyn Wright scored 2 times and Gabby Paloma recorded her first goal in the win. Jessica Gomez led the T-Bolts' offense with 5 scores and the trio of Cailey Pietrzyk, Lauren Herald and Sarah Rodgers each scored once in the loss.

 

Jones-Payton 11 Curie 0

Alina Hillery and the Lady Eagles' defense earned a shutout and six different players scored on the other end as Jones-Payton blanked Curie 11-0.

 

Lincoln-Way North 16 Lockport 4

Jess Larson totaled 5 goals and 2 assists while Cassidy Degraff recorded 4 goals and 9 steals as North got past Lockport 16-4. Julia Porco and Teresa Mega each added 2 goals and the trio of Caitlin Nelson, Paige Ruffner and Reis Parkinson all scored once in the win.

 

Maine West 11 Maine East 3

Kristen Burger netted 5 goals and Annie Picchiotti scored 3 times to help the Warriors earn an 11-3 win over Maine East.

 

Metea Valley 13 Hoffman 8

Abby Smedley, Alex Cerra and Gabby DuVal each tallied 4 goals to lead the Mustangs past Hoffman 13-8. Rachael Carlen scored once in the win for the visitors. Jenny Fermaintt totaled 5 goals in the loss for the Hawks.

 

Naperville Central 16 York 3

Kaela Codo registered 5 goals, Alli Hansen scored 3 times and Charlotte Albright notched 2 scores in the Redhawks' 16-3 win over York. Caroline Aemmer also scored once and dished out 3 assists for Central. Carli York, Isabella Gil and Sydney Hutchinson each scored once in the loss for the Dukes.

 

Sandburg 14 Lincoln-Way West 3

Clare Lawlor recorded 3 goals and drew 3 ejections while Madison Stuursma, Mara O'Connor and Tara Maher each scored 3 times in the Eagles' 14-3 triumph over LWW. Morgan Bartelment made 11 saves and Bella Wrobel and Vaia Makris both scored once for the winners.

 

STC North 9 Riverside-Brookfield 4

Brittany Veto and Monica Guyett each scored 3 times and combined to make 11 steals as the North Stars defeated the Bulldogs 9-4 on Thursday. Emmy Feddor, Katie Steele and Sarah Gibson each added one goal while Hannah Turner also made 5 steals in the win.

 

Stevenson 17 Libertyville 8

Allison Travetto notched 7 scores, Claire Haas scored 4 times and Lauren Maloney scored 3 goals in the Patriots' 17-8 victory over Libertyville. Lauren Burns blocked 9 shots in the first three periods before Brigitte Lefebvre wrapped up the win for 3 saves in the final quarter. Sara Clark scored 4 goals and Jess Lanty netted 2 scores in the losing effort.
