The Vikings secured their lead atop the MSL West standings after beating Conant 12-9 on Monday night. Robert DePau scored 3 goals and dished out 4 assists, Dylan Assmann totaled 3 goals and 3 assists and Zak Keper blocked 6 shots in the winning effort. Alex Nicholas, Derek Warnstedt and Ryan Dudar each added 2 goals while Nate Jordan scored once for Fremd.

Barrington d. Hoffman

Colin O'Leary scored 5 goals in the opening period as the Broncos jumped out to a 13-0 lead on Hoffman en route to a solid MSL West victory.

 

Buffalo Grove 10 Prospect 5

Brandon Monsen scored 2 goals, Kevin Carr scored 2 times and Anthony Murat blocked 15 shots as the Bison defeated Prospect 10-5 in a key MSL East contest. Daniel Korol, Eid Shahatit and Kacper Aniecko each added one score in the win for BG. Isaac Ginnodo scored 2 times and JAcob Kosinski, Jack Gabriel and Matt Inserra all scored once in the losing effort.

 

Elk Grove 7 Hersey 5 (OT)

David Dragne scored 2 goals to help the Grenadiers outlast Hersey 7-5 in overtime. Adam Doruff, Mike Pauls and Nick Rosenorn also filled up the scoresheet for the winners. James Lawrence scored 2 goals in the loss for the Huskies.

 

St Ignatius 15 Latin 1

Shane Hughes recorded 7 goals, Sam Enger scored 4 times and both Jack Dunn and Theo Mossman put in 2 goals in the Wolfpack's 15-1 triumph over Latin. Sam Orlin scored the lone goal for the Romans.

 

St Viator 11 Maine South 10 (OT)

Ethan Johnson scored 3 goals and Will McEvoy scored 2 times as the Lions edged Maine South 11-10 in overtime on Monday night. Sean Gardiner tallied 6 scores while Conor Brosnan and Marko Bogicevic each put in 2 goals in the loss for the Hawks.

 

York 13 Hinsdale South 8

Tim Evely notched 5 scores, Luke Nowak scored 4 times and Alex Marlott registered 2 goals in the Dukes' 13-8 victory over Hinsdale South. Danny Stumpf and Nik Miklyukh both added one score in the win for the visitors. Ryan Kirin totaled 4 goals and Danny Savage scored 3 times in the loss for the Hornets.

 

Wheeling 17 Meadows 8

Jake Noel and Nate Reiff both registered 6 goals and Kyle Noel scored 3 times in the Wildcats' 17-8 win over Meadows. Ethan Masters and Mike Dellorto both scored 4 times in the loss for the Mustangs.

Sarah Coombes totaled 4 goals, Paulina Pappas scored 2 goals and Emma Jeronimus stopped 16 shots in the Vikings' 8-6 win over Conant. Becca Rutkowski and Emily Kini both scored once in the win for Fremd. Sam Wooley scored 3 times, the trio of Aly Wooley, Hannah Lukas and Paulina Chowaniec each scored once in the losing effort. Cam Rosas also stopped 7 shots and Chowaniec made 5 steals for the Cougars.

Barrington 11 Hoffman 3

Mia Latimer tallied 5 scores, Andrea Potgieter netted 3 goals and Ellie Connors and Amanda Lynch made 7 saves in the Fillies' 11-3 win over Hoffman. Courtney Blum, Heidi Pallan and Isabella Rojas each added one score for the winners. Francia Morales-Diaz notched all 3 scores for the Hawks while goalie Benita Veranauskate made 7 saves in the loss.

 

Homewood-Flossmoor 11 Richards 7 (OT)

Alexis Anderson poured in 8 goals and tallied the game-winning goal in the first overtime period as the Vikings outlasted Richards 11-7 on Monday. Emily Mathews added 2 goals, Brooke Butler scored once and Eliza Sykes totaled 13 saves and 4 steals in the victory.
