Travis Tanner netted 3 goals and the trio of John Weeks, Johnnie Schmidt and Michael Bonthron each put in 2 goals in the Vikings' 12-10 win over LWW. Luke Santefort made 19 saves in the winning effort. Jake Carlson scored 7 goals and Josh Carlson tallied 2 scores in the loss for the Warriors.

 

Lincoln-Way Central 10 Stagg 8

Cody Kolbus scored 4 goals, Matt Klock notched 3 scores and Jake Burke blocked 9 shots as the Knights earned a 10-8 win over Stagg. Cody Torres added 2 goals and 6 steals for the winners. Tommy Witek registered 3 scores while both Lucas Smiarowski and Olaf Wrszesinski scored 2 times in the losing effort.

 

Lincoln-Way East 12 Andrew 5

Andrew Brozovic notched 6 scores and Bryan McNitt scored 4 times as the Griffins defeated Andrew 12-5. Jacob Culver made 10+ saves and limited the T-Bolts to just 5 goals in the win.

 

Loyola 14 Evanston 3

Mike Considine recorded 5 goals, Larkin Flanagan and Max Ashurst each scored 3 times and Kevin Manna scored 2 goals to help the Ramblers get past Evanston 14-3. Thomas Fies tallied 2 scores and Samuel Malaj scored once in the loss.

 

Lyons 16 Oak Park 9

The Lions improved to 18-1 and maintained their perfect WSC record after beating Oak Park 16-9. Sam Szczepaniak and George Lundgren both scored 5 goals for the winners. Leo Manola scored 3 goals, Dan Franklin tallied 2 scores, Lawrence Cozzi and Thomas Wolfe both scored once and Kevin Obrecht totaled 14 saves and 5 steals in the loss.

 

Glenbrook North 16 Maine West 14

The Spartans claimed their first CSL North victory after beating Maine West 16-14 on Tuesday. Stats for the winners were unavailable. Brendan Atwood recorded 10 goals and Sam Ure made 6 saves in the loss. Adam Smolik-Valles, Andre Krivokapich, Kevin Wendtland and Richie Sevic each scored once as well for the Warriors.

 

Naperville Central 14 Metea Valley 1

Philip Emden totaled 3 goals, Kyle Jackson and Lucas Nervig both scored 2 times and Kent Emden stopped 12 shots to help lift the Redhawks over Metea Valley 14-1. Bender Russo, Brian Calabrese, Nick Walker, Kyle Mallenall, Kyle Mallen, Michael Stern and Scott Piper each added one score for the winners.

 

New Trier 12 Maine South 7

Henry Yavitt and Patrick Gridley both totaled 3 goals while Danilo Scekic, Mason McQuet, Michael Krueger, Patrick Drake and Will Kohr each scored once in the Trevians' 12-7 win over Maine South. Jake Rink put in 3 goals, Marko Bogicevic tallied 2 scores and both Luke Wagner and Sean Gardiner scored once in the losing effort.

 

Prospect 11 Deerfield 7

Isaac Ginnodo recorded 6 goals and both Jack Gabriel and Matt Inserra netted 2 goals in the Knights' 11-7 win over Deerfield. Micah Wesselhoff and Scott Stern both scored 3 goals in the loss for the Warriors.

 

Sandburg 14 Waubonsie Valley 0

Nick Jackson and the Eagles' defense earned their first shutout of the season after beating Waubonsie Velley 14-0 in a nonconference affair. Alex Serrano and Marty Blake both scored 4 times while Aidan Farley netted 2 scores in the win.

Genevieve Curry and Jilly Cronin both recorded 3 goals and Kaitlyn Peterson made 8 saves as Oak Park defeated Lyons 12-9 in a key West Suburban Conference game. Addie Steward-Nolan and Tamsen Cronin both added 2 scores while Ellie Kennedy-Wood and Kevan Casson tallied one score in the win. Kaysie Stuba and Victoria Guevara each scored 3 goals, Maddie Cordell tallied 2 scores and Madie Janik stopped 6 shots in the loss. Olivia Land added a goal while Moore led the defense with 3 steals and chipped in with 2 assists for the Lions.

Natalie Gelberg notched 3 scores and Abbey Hodges made 13 saves in the Giants' 8-1 win over Maine East. Danni Cole, Emma Gelberg, Fiona Zhang, Molly Solem and Noa Cole each scored once in the win.

 

Lincoln-Way Central 15 Stagg 1

Cailey Davern scored 3 times and the trio of Erin Muellerschoen, Kim Bernhard and Nikki Howe each put in 2 goals in the Knights' 15-1 triumph over Stagg. Meullerschoen and Bernhard also combined to make 19 steals in the win. Ava Zirgaitis, Cetta Senese, Alex Carter, Maeve Bauer, Megan Forsythe and Sam Schletz rounded out the scoring for the winners.

 

Lincoln-Way East 11 Andrew 7

Caroline Heathcock and Nicole McCabe each scored 3 goals and Mia DiTella scored 2 times as the Griffins beat Andrew 11-7. Lauren Herald scored 2 times while Alexys Knight, Bailey Murphy, Cailey Pietrzyk Jessica Gomez and Sarah Rodgers all scored once in the loss for the T-Bolts.

 

Maine West 11 Glenbrook North 4

Kristin Burger recorded 6 goals and Annie Picchiotti scored 3 times to help lift the Warriors over GBN 11-4 on Tuesday. Gaby Fragale and Julia Boesche both added one score in the winning effort. Dana Callahan scored 2 times in the loss for the Spartans.

 

Naperville Central 15 Metea Valley 6

Kaela Codo and Rylee Brower both scored 3 goals and Faith Vandercar made 6 saves as the Redhawks beat Metea Valley 15-6 to wrap up the DVC title. Emily Rodgers and Emily Westlove both added 2 scores in the win. Alex Cerra tallied 3 scores, Abby Smedley notched 2 goals and Rachael Carlen scored once in the loss.

 

Naperville North 7 Neuqua Valley 4

Katie Horn recorded 3 goals to lead the Huskies past Neuqua Valley 7-4 on Tuesday night. Zoe Salafatinos totaled one goal and 4 steals while Catherine Carroll, Heather Sterchele and Jonel Carroll each scored once and Issi French made 13 saves in the loss.

 

Prospect 7 Buffalo Grove 2

Colleen Doyle tallied 3 scores and Lauren Broz made 21 saves in the Knights' 7-2 victory over BG. Faye Barry, Gracie Dix, Connie Vuong and Nicole Greda each added one score for the winners. Anna Gately and Sarah Harner both scored one goal in the losing effort.

 

Sandburg 7 Waubonsie Valley 4

Clare Lawlor scored 3 goals, Tara Maher drew 5 ejections and Morgan Bartelment made 11 saves in the Eagles' 7-4 win over Waubonsie Valley. Madison Stuursma and Vaia Makris both added 2 goals as well for the winners. Alex Triko tallied 2 scores and Kimela Srey scored once in the loss for the Warriors.

 

Stevenson 13 Lake Forest 4

Allison Travetto recorded 4 goals, Fiona Gaffney and Tanya Shkiler both scored 2 times and Lauren Burns made 13 saves in the Patriots' 13-4 victory over Lake Forest. Bella Greenspan, Claire Haas, Carolina Bohorquez, Lauren Maloney and Kelly Kempf each added one goal while Brigitte Lefebvre close things out with a pair of saves in the final period. Grace Donahue scored 3 times and Madeleine Pompe netted one score in the loss for the Scouts.

 

York 6 Loyola 5

Grace Achepohl netted 3 goals and Sarah Lewand made 20 saves and blocked 2 penalty shots as York earned a 6-5 victory over Loyola. Carli York, Isabelle Gil and Sydney Hutchinson each scored once in the win for the hosts.
