GAME PREVIEWS (Thursday, April 19)

BOYS

MATCH OF THE DAY

Libertyville at Stevenson
The battle at the top of the standings in the North Suburban Conference comes down to this contest between the Wildcats (3-0, 9-6) and Patriots (3-0, 12-7). Libertyville has never won the NSC, so they will have their work cut out for them if they hope to beat Robbie O'Brien and company in Lincolnshire.

KEEP AN EYE ON:

Oak Park at Latin  -CANCELLED-
The Romans (8-4-1) look to bounce back from a tough loss to Lyons when they play host to OPRF (9-5-1) in Chicago on Thursday. Both teams could use the momentum a win would provide as they gear up for the postseason.

GIRLS

MATCH OF THE DAY

Naperville Central at Fenwick
The first meeting between the two teams resulted in the Redhawks (20-0) handing the Friars (15-2) their first loss of 2012 in sudden-death overtime back in Week 2. Central has remained perfect since, while Fenwick's only other loss this season came at the hands of LT last weekend. Which state title contender will gain the upper-hand on Thursday night in Oak Park?

KEEP AN EYE ON:

Barrington at Fremd
The last thing standing in the way of Fremd's MSL West title defense is Barrington, who the Vikings beat earlier in the season 7-4. The Fillies (6-2, 15-3) can make things interesting at the top of the standings with a win, but accomplishing that is easier said than done, considering that Fremd (8-0, 19-2) hasn't lost a divisional contest since 2007.
