Wildcats Cruise To Own Tournament Title

Kevin Patterson and Robert Vechiola combined to score 25 goals to lead Neuqua Valley to wins over Bradley, Maine South, and Metea Valley en route to the Wildcats winning their own tournament. The other three teams each finished with 1-2 records in the Saturday-only event.

Kevin Patterson put in 6 scores, Robert Vechiola put in 4 goals, and Drew Dvorchak netted 3 scores in Neuqua's 13-6 triumph over Maine South. Eric Stahl also made 14 saves in the Wildcats victory. Makai DeNeve-Arnam scored 2 goals in the loss for Maine South.

Metea Valley 12 Maine South 10
Cameron Weber scored 6 goals and Alex Walter added 4 scores as Metea beat Maine South 12-10. Matt Kramer led the Hawks with 3 goals in the loss.

Neuqua Valley 22 Metea Valley 11
Alex Thoele, Robert Vechiola, and Will Russell each tallied 5 goals as the hosts beat Metea 22-11. Alex Walter scored 4 goals in the loss for the Mustangs.
