Ashley Helminski recorded 2 goals and Claire Davis blocked 11 shots as
the Pirates earned a 5-4 victory over Elk Grove. Kaylee Hatfield scored
2 goals in the loss for the Grenadiers.
Schaumburg 13 Buffalo Grove 12
Sidney Rosenblum scored 4 goals and both Hannah Pearson and Brianna
Vasquez scored 2 times in the Saxons' 13-12 win over BG. Ingrid Hay also
scored 2 goals for the winners. Dasha Yermol recorded 6 goals and Sarah
Harner netted 3 scores in the losing effort.
MSL CHAMPIONSHIP
Conant 5 Prospect 4
Aly Wooley scored two second half goals, including the eventual
game-winner, as the Cougars edged Prospect 5-4 to win the MSL
Championship on Wednesday. Olivia Olszewski, Paulina Chowaniec (5
steals) and Nia Tsoulos each added one score and Cam Rosas made 11 saves
in the win. Gracie Dix totaled 3 goals and Mallory Malone scored once in
the loss for the Knights.
