7'00  The starting lineups are in, the teams are in their huddles, and we are almost ready for a Catholic League showdown between Fenwick and Ignatius.
6'40 Gastevich with a save on a close-range shot by Brian Barron in the early stages of the period.
6'20 Wendt with a steal on the defensive end for the Friars.
5'32 Furious action in the Fenwick half, as Wendt turns his defender and tries to beat a triple-team at 2m and nearly does...Gastevich hustles to track down a loose ball but Fenwick with a steal at 7m...Brian Barron ends up with it and feeds Wendt who was left alone on the left side and the Friars go up 1-0.
3'35 Wendt scores from just outside 2m and Fenwick leads 2-0.
3'06 Brian Barron scores on Fenwick's counter and Ignatius needs a timeout to regroup.

7'00  Gastevich has been solid in goal for the Wolfpack, but the relentless pressure from Fenwick on both ends has them ahead 4-0 after one period.
6'00  Dan Barron's shot is wide left after Fenwick earned a stop on the defensive end.
5'30 Ignatius draws their second ejection of the game, but Borkovec and Dan Barron combine to force a turnover.
4'50 Moore with a steal at 2m for the Wolfpack; Mulchrone turns his defender at 7m and runs right into Wendt who makes the steal and starts the Fenwick counter.
4'00 Wendt hits the post, gets his own rebound, then drives in and draws a penalty shot for the Friars. He skips it off the right post and Ignatius breaks the other way.
3'50 Jack Turek shoots wide to the right of the goal for Ignatius.
3'39 Ed Osmalak tallies a goal on the other end for the Friars.
3'20 Rigali feeds Borkovec on the right post and his shot finds the back of the net to put Fenwick ahead 6-0.
3'00 Wendt with a steal on one end and his drive to set is met with a nifty pass from John Osborne and he calmly slides the ball past Gastevich for his third goal of the game.

1'20 Brian Barron tips the ball to himself and then feeds Rigali who was open next to him at 2m for a goal.
0'35 Wendt scores from the left post and Fenwick leads 10-0.
0'20 Tom Zadiek with a steal for Ignatius; Fowler draws an ejection in the closing seconds of the period but Moore lobs a shot over the goal at the halftime buzzer.

5'50  Napleton denies Alvarado from 4m out after an ejection.
5'20 Gastevich stretches to block a shot by Ryden from the left wing.
4'50 Alvarado puts Ignatius on the scoreboard with a goal from just inside 5m; Fenwick still leads 11-1.
4'30 Dan Barron's penalty shot hits the inside of the left post and bounces into the back of the net and the Friars lead 12-1.
4'00 Alvarado lobs a shot off the crossbar and Fowler nearly gets to the rebound at the left post but Napleton is there to deny a scoring chance.
3'30 Fenwick draws an ejection and Brian Barron scores his second goal to make the score 13-1.
2'30 Mulchrone draws an ejection, Jack Abernethy nearly gets his hands on a loose ball at 2m after a deflected pass but Napleton fights him off and clears for Fenwick.
1'20 Both teams trade unsuccessful possessions in the next minute of play.
1'56 Brian Barron draws a foul outside 5m and scores on a quick shot to make the score 14-1.
0'14 Fenwick earns another penalty shot in the final seconds of the quarter and Brian Barron nets his fourth goal of the game.
