GAME PREVIEWS (Thursday, March 22)

BOYS

MATCH OF THE DAY

STC East at STC North

The showdown between the two teams from St Charles is always a lively affair; the Saints (6-3) will look for a repeat of their 13-9 victory over the North Stars (2-8) at last weekend's Hinsdale Tournament.

KEEP AN EYE ON:

Waubonsie Valley at Naperville North

The Huskies (11-1) keep piling up high-quality wins, including victories over Fremd and Lockport earlier this week. They will need to avoid looking past Waubonsie Valley (2-6), a team that is much better than their early-season record would indicate.

GIRLS

MATCH OF THE DAY

Fremd at Barrington

Something's got to give in the MSL West on Thursday when two undefeated conference teams meet in Round 1 of what will help decide the division winner in 2012. The Fillies (6-0) put their perfect overall record to the test in a home contest against Fremd (11-2).

KEEP AN EYE ON:

Bremen at Lyons

The Red Jaguars already have a handful of quality wins to their tab, but they'll need to be at their best when they travel to LaGrange to take on an undefeated Lyons (5-0) team looking for momentum heading into their own tournament on Saturday.
