Quarterfinals

(1) Stevenson 15 (8) Highland Park 2

(5) Lake Forest 6 (4) Vernon Hills 4

Joy Corona scored 3 goals to lead Lake Forest to a 6-4 victory over Vernon Hills. Lindsay Faucher, Laura McClenahan, and Devan Osborn each tallied one goal apiece for the Scouts in the win.

(2) Mundelein 15 (7) Libertyville 10

Alice Denny scored 7 goals to lead Mundelein to a 15-10 victory over Libertyville on Thursday. Alexis Jones added 4 scores and Ali Fedro recorded 3 goals in the win for the Mustangs. Sarah Cull led Libertyville with 8 goals in the loss.

(3) Buffalo Grove 8 (6) Deerfield 5

Jessica Lundin recorded 20 saves to help Buffalo Grove knock off Deerfield 8-5 in the final game of the night at the Vernon Hills Sectional.

Friday, May 9

Semifinals

(1) Stevenson 16 (5) Lake Forest 3

Rachel Cliburn scored 4 goals and Melanie Sulkin added 3 scores as Stevenson defeated Lake Forest 16-3.

(2) Mundelein 7 (3) Buffalo Grove 4

Alice Denny scored 3 goals and drew 8 ejections and Kristen Aucutt scored 2 times as Mundelein held off Buffalo Grove in a tough defensive battle to win 7-4 on Friday. Dani Caldwell and Ali Fedro also tallied goals for the Mustangs in the win, while Jessie and Becky Schmidly both scored 2 goals apiece for the Bison in the loss.

Saturday, May 10

Finals

(1) Stevenson 17 (2) Mundelein 5

Rachel Cliburn and Amy Michelau each scored 6 goals and Rebecca Shopiro added 2 goals and 3 assists to help lift Stevenson to a 17-5 victory over Mundelein at the Vernon Hills Sectional. Alice Denny scored 3 goals and Kristen Aucutt scored the other 2 goals in the loss for the Mustangs.
