BOYS

Brandon Kase (Schaumburg)

The Saxons leading scorer totaled 23 goals in five games, which included wins over Hoffman and Lafayette and two overtime losses to Mundelein and Lindbergh.

 

Jacob Dorn (Von Steuben)

Jacob Dorn scored 11 goals to help Von Steuben beat Morgan Park 14-5 to win the Northside Tournament on Saturday.

 

Justin Jacobson (STC North)

Justin Jacobson recorded 5 goals and Joey Chokran and Kyle Passini each added 3 scores in the North Stars' 15-12 victory over rivals STC East.

 

Mark Krolikiewicz (York)

Mark Krolikiewicz scored 12 goals to carry the Dukes to a 15-4 victory over Lafayette (MO) in the fifth-place game of the Schaumburg Tournament on Saturday.

 

Tyler Hunt (Waubonsie Valley)

Tyler Hunt recorded 11 goals as Waubonsie Valley defeated Naperville North 17-15 in overtime on Thursday night.

 

 

 

GIRLS

Allie Grimes (Lyons)

Grimes paced the Lions' attack on Saturday morning, as she scored 5 times in a 16-3 win over Stevenson. She also helped LT win their tournament over the weekend, as they earned wins over Wheeling and Waubonsie Valley.

 

Emma McKernin (Fenwick)

The Friars' senior scored 5 goals and added 2 assists and 3 steals in a 12-9 victory over Stevenson on Tuesday night.

 

Sarah Hanly (Lincoln-Way Central)

Hanly scored 3 goals in a 6-3 victory over the hosts to help lift the Knights to a second-place finish at the Resurrection Tournament. She also led the team with 6 goals in a win over Shepard earlier in the day, plus scored 2 times in Friday night's 7-4 win over Deerfield.

 

Yuri Chavez (Mother McAuley)

Chavez scored 4 times in an 8-6 victory over Neuqua Valley on Tuesday, then followed that with a 4-goal performance in a Catholic League win over Loyola.

 

Zara Wysockey (New Trier)
