Mihir Patel notched 5 scores, Braden LaMore scored 3 times and Harris Dibek blocked two penalty shots as the Cougars defeated Schaumburg 13-5 in the MSL West opener for both teams.

Dylan Assmann and Robert DePau both recorded 4 goals and Alex Nicholas scored 2 times as the Vikings edged Barrington 11-10 in a key MSL West contest. Ryan Dudar also scored once in the win for Fremd.

 

Jones-Payton 14 Ogden 4

Niklas Krug scored 3 times to help lead the Eagles past Ogden 14-4. Sebastian McCausland recorded 2 goals in the losing effort.

 

Lockport 13 Metea Valley 11

Ian Greenway totaled 4 goals and 4 assists while Eric Krawcyzk, Matt Zajac and Matt Zalesko each put in 2 goals as the Porters defeated Metea Valley 13-11. Erik Firganek, Giovanni Onesto, Jacob Sweis and Matt Stogsdill each added one score in the winning effort.

 

Mundelein 15 York 9

Mike Ward scored 4 goals while the trio of Eric Nielsen, Matt Schaedel and Nick Oleinik each scored 3 times as the Mustangs defeated York 15-9. Oleinik also totaled 4 assists and 10 steals in the victory. Tim Evely and Nik Miklyukh each tallied 2 scores in the loss for the Dukes.

 

STC East 13 McHenry 6

Andrew Roberge scored 5 goals and Ethan Braham tallied 3 scores in the Saints' 13-6 win over McHenry. Jack Sweeney added 2 goals while the trio of Charlie Young, Kyle Chapko and Tanner Schisler each put in one score in the victory. Jackson Smith, Josh Frost and Tyler Hemphill each scored 2 times in the loss for the Warriors.

 

St Ignatius 12 St Viator 3

Shane Hughes netted 6 goals, Andreas Christy and Jack Dunn both notched 2 scores and Sam Enger totaled 6 saves and 5 steals in the Wolfpack's 12-3 win over St Viator. Bradley Yendro and Moises Lopez each added one score for the winners. Dante Cerone, Matt Frank and Stephen Battin each scored once and Tim Bansfield stopped 6 shots in the loss for the Lions.

 

Westinghouse 16 Kennedy 13

Anthony Figuera scored 6 times and William Grove added 5 goals as Westinghouse beat Kennedy 16-13. Tony Chabla also totaled 4 scores and 6 steals in the win.

Catie Wallace recorded 5 goals, including the game-winner, and Kelly Frumkin registered 2 scores as the Friars outlasted the Mighty Macs 8-7 in an overtime thriller. Claire Mueller registered 4 scores, Paulina Correa put in 3 scores and Geena Peyton made 16 saves in the losing effort.

Paulina Chowaniec recorded 4 goals, Sam Wooley scored 2 times and Cam Rosas made 13 saves in the Cougars' 7-5 win over Schaumburg. Nia Tsoulos also scored once in the winning effort. Hannah Pearson tallied 3 scores in the loss for the Saxons.

Jasmine Debo, Leticia Bradsfield and Mya Wallace each scored 2 goals to help lead the Meteors to a 12-1 win over Marian. Antoinette Musco, Erin Hughes, Jazmin Garcia, Loren Walter, Leslie Garfias and Olicia Macias each tallied one score in the winning effort. Olivia Skelly-Williams scored once in the loss for the Spartans.

Meredith Lohman registered 3 scores and Emmy Brewer added 2 goals as the Lady Eagles beat Roosevelt 12-2 on Monday.

Grace Donahue scored 5 goals and Madeleine Pompe netted 4 scores in the Scouts' 11-7 triumph over Deerfield. Allison Maijke and Catherine Pompe each added one score in the win. Katherine Rogers led the Warriors with 4 goals while Naomi Willis and Rachel Ward each put in one score in the loss.

 

Lindblom 17 Solorio 11 (OT)

Lindblom outscored Solorio 6-0 in overtime to walk away with a 17-11 victory in a CPS contest.

 

Lockport 8 Metea Valley 6

Kennedy Ruther recorded 4 goals and Mariah Dicksen stopped 14 shots as Lockport topped Metea Valley 8-6 on Monday night. Alex Cerra and Emily Garza both tallied 2 scores, Abby Smedley and Gabby DuVal both scored once and Rachael Carlen blocked 10 shots in the loss for the Mustangs.

 

Meadows 5 Prospect 4

Lizzie Hardt and Emily Walters both scored 2 goals and Sara Luedloff scored once as the Mustangs beat Prospect 5-4 on Monday in an MSL East contest. Betsy Zanocco also made 23 saves in the win for RMHS. Gracie Dix scored 2 goals and Mary Clare McAleer made 15 saves in the losing effort.

 

Palatine 15 Hoffman 7

Mathilde Mogensen totaled 5 goals and 7 assists while Jasmina Mesic and Tess O'Brien each put in 4 goals as the Pirates beat Hoffman 15-7. Kelsey Hank added 2 goals and Megan Woell made 11 saves in the MSL West contest. Ann Cho tallied 5 scores and Jenny Fermaintt scored the other 2 goals for the Hawks.

 

Richards 11 Riverside-Brookfield 10

Sarah Coffman recorded 6 goals and Sinead Soltis netted 4 scores in the Lady Muttdogs 11-10 win over R-B.

 

Westinghouse 17 Kennedy 7

Mia Martinez recorded 8 goals to lead Westinghouse past Kennedy 17-7 on Monday evening.

 

Whitney Young 7 Northside 3

Abigail Werner totaled 4 goals and Itzayana Rodriguez scored 2 times in the Dolphins' 7-3 win over NSP. Colette Conway scored 2 goals and Fallon Konow made 9 saves in the losing effort.
