FENWICK TOURNAMENT

Neuqua Valley 13 Fenwick 10

Joey Dalesandro recorded 7 goals and Jordan Beck made 11 saves as the Wildcats beat Fenwick 13-10 on Friday. Troy Salafatinos added 2 goals while Adam McGovern, Alec McKinley, Brandon Gorski and Zach Dilger each added one goal in the win. Noah Groll tallied 4 scores and Kyle Poland registered 2 scores in the losing effort. Dan Malagoli, Matt Hoban, Mickey McGuire, Ramses Flores and Tommy Martino each put in one goal as well for the hosts.

 

Naperville North 14 Brother Rice 10

Cole Jacobs, Jon Jon Pettinger and Reilly McDonnell each tallied 3 scores and Jack Roche made 11 saves in the Huskies' 14-10 win over Brother Rice. Chris Popiolek added 2 goals while Brian Lapham, Chris Korb and Matt Magee all scored once for the winners.

 

 

EVANSTON TOURNAMENT

Evanston 8 Parkway Central 7

Thomas Fies converted a penalty shot in the final minute of regulation to send the Wildkits past Missouri's Parkway Central squad 8-7 in the event's opening game.

 

Glenbrook South 13 St Viator 4

Peter Dales registered 7 scores, Tommy Hagerty netted 3 goals and Brian Johnson stopped 4 shots in the Titans' 13-4 victory over St Viator.

 

St Viator 7 Parkway Central 7

Stephen Battin recorded 3 goals, Dante Cerone scored 2 times and Tim Bansfield made 7 saves as the Lions earned a 7-7 draw with Parkway Central.

 

Glenbrook South 14 Bremen 6

Brendan Chang and Tommy Hagerty each scored 4 times and Brian Johnson made 12 saves to help lift the Titans over Bremen 14-6.

 

 

MUNDELEIN TOURNAMENT

Mundelein 11 Lindbergh 7

Mike Ward totaled 7 goals, Matt Schaedel tallied 2 scores and Jeremiah Lam made 8 saves to help the Mustangs get past Lindbergh 11-7.

 

New Trier 16 Libertyville 4

Henry Yavitt scored 6 goals, Michael Krueger added 3 scores and both Sam Yavitt and Will Kohr put in 2 goals in the Trevians' 16-4 triumph over Libertyville. Alex Holme, Charlie Ryan and Nick Kish each added one score in the win.

 

 

SCHAUMBURG TOURNAMENT

Wheeling 18 Schaumburg 6

Nate Reiff poured in 11 goals to lead Wheeling past Schaumburg 18-6. Tyler Gustafson recorded 3 goals and Matt Soltau tallied 2 scores in the loss for the hosts.

 

Lincoln-Way West 14 Lafayette 1

Jake Carlson recorded 8 goals and both Bill Laitar and Josh Carlson scored 2 times in the Warriors' 14-1 win over Lafayette. Kyle Karpluk also scored once in the winning effort. Matt Graves scored the lone goal for the Lancers.

 

York 20 St Rita 4

Alex Marlott and Tim Evely each scored 4 times and Nik Miklyukh chipped in with 3 scores as the Dukes beat St Rita 20-4. Danny Stumpf, Luke Nowak and Parker Hicks also contributed 2 goals apiece in the victory. Joe Qualter led the Mustangs with 2 scores in the loss.

 

McHenry 8 Whitney Young 7

Kevin Braun tallied 4 scores and Jackson Smith netted 3 scores in the Warriors' 8-7 victory over Young. Mike Matusek added one score as well for the winners. Duncan McDonald led the Dolphins with 3 scores and Mitch Moore scored 2 times in the loss.

 

Schaumburg 16 St Rita 5

Andrew Jun, Matt Soltau, Sam Thomas and Tyler Gustafson each scored 3 goals to help the Saxons get past St Rita 16-5. Matt Petriekas led the Mustangs with 2 scores in the loss.

 

Lincoln-Way West 12 Whitney Young 11

Jake Carlson registered 9 goals to help the Warriors edge Whitney Young 12-11. Duncan McDonald led the Dolphins with 5 scores in the losing effort.

Naperville Central 13 Saline 2

Kaela Codo recorded 5 goals, Emily Westlove added 2 scores and Faith Vandercar stopped 8 shots as the Redhawks started their own event with a 13-1 win over Saline. Gillian Gatecliff and Maddy Murphy both scored once in the loss for the Hornets.

 

St Ignatius 10 York 3

Diana Fernandez scored 4 goals and Stephania Lopez tallied 3 scores as the Wolfpack topped York 10-3. Nina Mantich added 2 scores while Tara White scored once in the win. Grace Achepohl scored all 3 goals in the losing effort.

 

Saline 11 Homewood-Flossmoor 0

Cassie Anderson scored 5 goals and Alyssa Deal earned a shutout as the Hornets bounced back from an earlier loss to blank the Vikings 11-0. Gillian Gatecliff added 2 goals while Gillian Cain, Maddy Murphy, Sam Fitch and Sam Fox each scored once for the victors.

 

York 10 Mundelein 2

Grace Achepohl scored 4 goals and Ellie Fitzpatrick added 2 scores as York got past Mundelein 10-2. Abbie Lukas and Laura Nootbaar each scored once in the loss for the Mustangs.

 

Naperville Central 11 Homewood-Flossmoor 0

Charlotte Albright, Kaela Codo and Rylee Brower each scored 2 times and Faith Vandercar and the NC defense did not allow a goal as they beat H-F 11-0 on Friday.

Brianna Breason scored 2 goals to help the Indians secure a 10-8 victory over Sandburg on Friday.

 

Stevenson 11 Oak Park 7

Allison Travetto and Claire Haas each scored 4 times and Lauren Burns made 12 saves as the Patriots walked away with an 11-7 win over Oak Park in Lincolnshire on Friday night. Amelia Eastman added 2 goals while Tanya Shkiler scored once and made 6 steals. Haas led the defense with 7 steals in the win. Ellie Kennedy-Wood and Jilly Cronin both scored 2 goals and Kaitlyn Peterson stopped 14 shots for the Huskies. Addie Steward-Nolan, Genevieve Curry and Kevan Casson each added one goal as well in the loss.

 

Waubonsie Valley 17 Andrew 5

Maria Campbell totaled 4 scores for the Warriors as they secured a 17-5 win over Andrew on Friday night. Cailey Pietrzyk scored 5 times and Olivia Kasper stopped 5 shots in the loss for the T-Bolts.
