The Eagles travel to Lockport hoping to keep their perfect conference record in tact, while the Porters are hoping to bounce back from last Thursday's loss to Homewood-Flossmoor.

 

KEEP AN EYE ON

6:00pm - #10 Loyola at #18 Palatine

The first meeting between the Ramblers and Pirates resulted in an 8-8 draw, so expect another tightly contested battle when Loyola rambles into town for this nonconference affair.

The Porters already have a handful of quality wins under their belts in 2013; they will be looking to shake things up in the SouthWest Suburban Blue division when they travel to Orland Park to take on the Eagles, who are undefeated in conference play thus far.

 

KEEP AN EYE ON

6:00pm - #25 York at #10 Mundelein

The Mustangs play their first home game in nearly two years when they welcome York to their new facility for a nonconference tilt on Monday night.

MATCH OF THE DAY

Lockport 13 Sandburg 11

Dan Oldendorf scored 6 times and Jake Knowles added 3 scores as the Porters grabbed an early 6-3 lead and held on to beat Sandburg 13-11 on Monday.

 

OTHER KEY GAMES

Lyons 12 Palatine 4

Sean McMahon scored 5 times and Peter Dore recorded 3 goals as Lyons earned a 12-4 road victory over Palatine on Monday. George Duffy also netted 2 scores and both Josh Hirt and Nathan Kriha both scored one goal in the Lions' win. Christian Kalfas recorded 2 goals and Peter Blackham totaled 11 saves and 9 steals in the loss. Kristian Kalev and Omar El Hoffi also notched one goal apiece for the Pirates.

 

Northside 16 Payton-Jones 3

Christian Hernandez totaled 7 goals and Michal Rajski notched 5 scores in Northside's 16-3 triumph over Payton-Jones. Ted Decker scored 2 times in the loss for the Grizzlies.

 

St Viator 9 Maine East 7

Rob Battin and Tommy Madras both scored 3 goals and Frank Skorski blocked 13 shots as the Lions beat Maine East 9-7 in nonconference play. Keegan Finn added 2 goals and Eric Sutton scored once in the win for Viator.

 

Taft 14 Roosevelt 6

Ricky Navarro registered 7 goals and Mark Griffin added 4 scores as Taft downed Roosevelt 14-6. Jordan Jotzat and Christian Gordon each put in one score in the win for the Eagles.

 

York 18 McHenry 8

Patrick McKenna scored 8 goals, Nick Salek tallied 4 scores, and Alex Waldherr added 3 goals in York's 18-8 win over McHenry.

Brittany Kamper, Maggie Foley, and Sarah Dolitsky each recorded 3 goals and Alona King made 18 saves as Sandburg knocked off Lockport 12-5. Christine Bafia led the Porters with 3 scores in the losing effort.

 

OTHER KEY GAMES

Andrew 18 Stagg 4

Megan Hofer poured in 7 goals to lead the T-Bolts to an 18-4 victory over Stagg on Monday morning.

 

Lincoln-Way Central 15 Lincoln-Way East 5

Danijela Jackovich totaled 7 goals and 3 assists and Kristi Howe added 3 scores to lead the Knights past LWE 15-5 on Monday. Beth Senese and Liz Klock each added 2 goals and Delaney Shepard scored once in the victory. Brittany Felice, Haley McCabe, Lauren Vandervelde, Steph Bitz, and Taylor Jach each tallied one goal and Jill Connolly made 7 saves in the loss for the Griffins.

 

Northside 19 Payton-Jones 7

Jane Patzke and Meghan Quickly both scored 7 times and both Diana Roback and Jessica Skipper netted 2 goals in the Mustangs' 19-7 win over Payton-Jones. Rebecca Sudworth notched 3 scores and both Marlee Nork and Sam Kosloski scored 2 times in the loss for the Grizzlies.

 

Palatine 8 Libertyville 7

Rachel Chumbook scored 5 goals and Kim Butler registered 13 saves as Palatine beat Libertyville 8-7 to hand the Wildcats their first loss of the season. Bianca Casteneda, Caroline Wojtas, and Caitlin McHugh each added one score in the Pirates' win. Devika Joshi scored 3 goals and Mack Ryan added 2 scores in the loss for Libertyville.

 

Wheeling 10 Elk Grove 6

Kat Dobrowski and Theresa Godlewski both scored 4 goals and Rachel Ropski put in 2 scores as Wheeling topped Elk Grove 10-6 in MSL East action on Monday night.
