7'00  The teams meet at mid-pool to shake hands after the starting lineups are announced...that means we are just moments away from the opening swim-off!
6'30 Cautious start from both teams; Servatius tips a shot by Lowry out-of-bounds as the shot clock runs out.
5'50 Moy's backhand attempt from near 4m goes askew and Loyola begins their second offensive possession.
5'20 After a turnover, Henry draws an ejection; Novokhovsky's 5m attempt hits the crossbar and Loyola recovers the loose ball.
4'40 Novokhovsky hits the bar again; Henry and Le Compte fight for a loose ball, Stevenson gets it, but Henry's shot attempt goes over the net.
3'40 O'Connor tries a backhand at 2m but she is swarmed by two defenders and Bartman grabs a relatively easy save.
3'00 Stevenson turnover; O'Connor called for an offensive foul before hitting the back of the net and Stevenson counters.
2'15 O'Connor with a steal on the defensive end; counter for Loyola results in a penalty called after the drive by Letrich!

0'57 Sershon delivers from outside 7m with a lob that finds the upper-right corner of the net; 2-0 Loyola.
0'42 Novokhovsky scores from 5m out after a Loyola ejection to cut the Ramblers lead in half.
0'30 Bartman makes a quality save and starts the transition for Stevenson; after an ejection call, Loyola blocks Stevenson's last shot attempt of the period as the Ramblers lead 2-1.

6'20  Stevenson's first possession lasts for nearly the entire first minute of the period, but Sershon makes a steal after an ejection call to keep Loyola ahead by a goal.
5'59 O'Connor draws a penalty and connects on the following shot to the right corner and Loyola leads 2-1.
5'40 Loyola draws an ejection but Bartman makes a key save to keep the Patriots within striking distance early on.
4'25 Novokhovsky lobs a shot off the crossbar and Servatius claims the loose ball.
3'56 O'Connor finds a small amount of breathing room on the right side inside of 5m and scores her third goal of the game to give Loyola a 4-1 lead.

3'30 Sulkin forces a turnover on the defensive end for SHS, but O'Connor returns the favor on the other end for Loyola.
2'45 Novokhovsky makes a defensive steal, but Servatius makes a big save on a close-range shot from Moy.
0'40 Furious end to the first half, as Loyola draws a late ejection, but Bartman denies a close-range shot and clears the rebound after a fight for the loose ball in front of the cage.
0'15 Stevenson draws an ejection on the other end, but Servatius makes an important stop and sends the ball out of harm's way as time expires in the first half.
----- O'Connor leads the way for Loyola with 3 goals, while the Ramblers defense has been highly effective. Stevenson has had their opportunities, but they will need to capitalize on them in the second half if they are to make a comeback.

6'30  Back underway, Bartman makes a save on Loyola's first chance of the third quarter.
6'00 O'Connor with a steal; Loyola turns the ball over on the other end.
4'45 Bartman gets out of the water to knock down an outside shot by Loyola sub Ellie Ansani.
3'40 Defensive start for both teams in this period.
3'30 Ansani's lob shot goes over the goal from the left side.
3'19 Moy catches the Loyola defense off guard, scoring from the left side to cut the Ramblers lead to 4-2.
2'45 Stevenson applying pressure on the offensive end, but a forced turnover leads to a breakaway chance for O'Connor and she converts from 2m to make the score 5-2.
1'14 Solid run of play from Loyola sub Sarah Gross, who earns a steal on one end of the pool and follows that effort up later by drawing an ejection.
0'58 O'Connor converts from outside 7m on the following play and Loyola leads 6-2!
0'12 Gross with a field block for Loyola; Stevenson with a steal, and Bartman's last shot is knocked down by Servatius and the Ramblers lead 6-2 heading to the final period of play!

6'36 Le Compte takes a pass from Gross at 7m and lofts a shot into the right corner to give Loyola a 7-2 advantage.
5'38 Montijo shows great skill by turning her defender, driving to the right post, then finding Lowry open in front of the goal and she converts to make the score 7-3.
4'40 Stevenson again applying pressure on the offensive end, but Loyola forces a turnover to stop the threat.
3'25 Stevenson forces a shot clock violation on one end, then Montijo assists Lowry who was wide-open at the 5m mark and she cuts the Loyola lead to 7-4.
2'46 Loyola timeout
2'06 Loyola possesses the ball for the duration of the shot clock, but a shot after the whistle had blown results in a kickout and a Stevenson timeout to setup an offensive play.
1'47 BIG GOAL FOR STEVENSON, as Novokhovsky connects from outside 5m, assisted by Moy, and Stevenson cuts the lead to 7-5 with 2:00 left to play!
1'31 Loyola timeout
----- Break in the action as Stevenson will be desperate for a quick goal if they can hold Loyola on the other end. The Ramblers have a play setup after the timeout and could clinch a victory with another goal in the final two minutes.
1'15 Shot clock violation for Loyola; Novokhovsky's lob goes wide and out-of-bounds, and the Ramblers hold the ball and look to kill the clock.
0'25 Loyola runs the shot clock out and Stevenson takes a timeout trailing by two goals.
0'01 Stevenson earns two ejections in the final flurry of action, finally scoring with less than a second on the clock, as Montijo draws a foul and scores from 5m. It'll be too little, too late, however, as Loyola lets the final second tick off the clock to advance to the state semifinals with a 7-6 win!
