(9) Argo 18 (8) Morgan Park 15

Altaira Bird totaled 8 goals and Michelle Neal scored 5 times to help lift Argo to an 18-15 win over Morgan Park on Tuesday. Jelena Bates scored 7 goals and Janelle Wenner added 5 scores in the loss for the Mustangs.

Thursday, May 13

Quarterfinals

(1) Lyons 14 (9) Argo 0

Lyons got their title chase started in fine fashion with a 14-0 shutout win over Argo on Thursday in Western Springs. The perfect game was the sixth of the season for goalie Grace Trilla and the Lions' defense.

Finals

(1) Lyons 12 (2) Mother McAuley 5

LT beat McAuley for the third time this season in the sectional finals by a 12-5 score to advance to the state tournament. The Lions held an 8-3 halftime lead and never looked back as they improved to 30-0 on the season. Erika Ronning and Kirby Kaptur both scored 3 times and Adrianna Hoak and Katelyn Jacobs each added 2 scores in the win.
