2019 SECTIONALS
More than 150 boys and girls teams will begin their quest for a chance to advance to the state tournament, starting with the sectional play-in games on May 6 & 7.

The girls' quarterfinal action starts on May 8, followed by the boys' quarterfinal games on May 9. The sectional semifinals are played on May 10, with the sectional final games all taking place on Saturday, May 11.

Links to every sectional site are provided below. These will be updated continuously with schedules, game times, and scores/recaps throughout the week of sectionals. At the end of the week, we will have Sectional Ballers and the All-Sectional Teams (as soon as they are submitted to us from each sectional site).

Chris Magyla, Caden Gierstorf, Connor McCarthy, Johnny Wagner and Payton Comstock each scored 2 goals in the Friars' 13-2 win over Morton.

(4) St Patrick 13 (5) Northside 8

(3) Oak Park 20 (6) Von Steuben 4

Cal Jaques tallied 7 scores, Finn McMullen notched 4 scores and Braydon Graves made 14 saves as the Huskies earned a 20-4 win over Von Steuben.

Friday, May 10

Ramses Flores put in 3 goals while Alex Figus and Dan Lynch both scored 2 times in the Friars' 12-6 victory over St Patrick.

Saturday, May 11

Finals

(1) Fenwick 14 (2) York 8

Payton Comstock fired in 6 goals and Manny Ruiz made 8 saves as Fenwick topped the Dukes for a return trip to the statetournament after a 14-8 win. Wil Gurski scored 2 goals as well for the winners. Carson Hicks led York with a hat trick. Ian Marlott and Jacob Dunlap each scored twice in the loss for the Dukes.
