THURSDAY'S GAME PREVIEWS

BOYS

MATCH OF THE DAY

#23 Palatine at #20 Schaumburg

The Pirates and Saxons are both off to impressive starts, so things will come to a head when they meet in this MSL West contest on Thursday night. The victor will gain a solid advantage in the conference title race.

KEEP AN EYE ON:

#10 Homewood-Flossmoor at #24 Lincoln-Way North - The Phoenix lost a stunner in the final seconds to #11 Sandburg earlier in the week and will look to bounce back against another tough foe when they take on Russell Maanum, Shay Banton, and the rest of the Vikings on Thursday.

GIRLS

MATCH OF THE DAY

#20 Andrew at #19 Lincoln-Way Central

The T-Bolts and Knights are about as closely matched as possible as they head into this contest; Andrew comes off a big win over #12 Lincoln-Way East while Central knocked off Stagg earlier in the week.

KEEP AN EYE ON:

#6 Fremd at Conant - The Vikings (8-0) enter this contest undefeated and remain the team to beat in the MSL West this season; the Cougars (7-5) are off to an impressive start themselves and will try to pull off an upset in Hoffman Estates on Thursday afternoon.
