GAME PREVIEWS (Tuesday, April 29)

MATCH OF THE DAY I

5:00pm - #11 Sandburg at #9 Lockport

The SWSC Blue title race could hit its' peak with the third meeting between Sandburg and Lockport; the Porters hold a one game lead in the division and won last weekend's meeting at the Brother Rice Tourney, while the Eagles won the first conference game to secure the top seed at the LWC Sectional. Who will gain the upper-hand in the division and in the season series between familiar foes?

MATCH OF THE DAY II

6:00pm - #1 Naperville North at #8 Lyons

The brewing rivalry between the Huskies and Lions resumes in LaGrange as the nonconference teams get set for what should be another heated battle. Expect a large turnout for both sides in a game that could be a preview of how each team will do in the pressure-packed playoffs next month.

OTHER KEY GAMES

5:00pm - #24 LWC at #14 Andrew

6:00pm - #17 Niles West at #15 New Trier

The Mighty Macs have a chance to avenge their Week 2 loss to the Redhawks when they go on the road to face Naperville Central; both teams are finding their stride at just the right time and a win in this game could go a long way in building confidence for next month's sectional playoffs.

The Wolfpack make the trek to the site of the state tournament to do battle with Stevenson. SICP won the first meeting 13-7 back in Week 4, but the Patriots are a definite title contender and would nothing more than to grab a major nonconference win over the defending champions on Tuesday evening.

6:00pm - #12 Lyons at #3 Naperville North
