Glenbrook North Sectional Preview
The field at the Glenbrook North sectional is one of the toughest, as any of the top three seeds have a strong chance to advance to state. Evanston is the top seed, as Alex Negronida and Kevin Paulson have led the Wildkits to victories over both Loyola and New Trier this season.

.

Meanwhile, New Trier will look to repeat their sectional championship performance of a year ago behind offensive-minded Chris Soper and solid overall players like Tom Saleh and Stephen Bossu. Sam Wampler will also look to put the clamps down on the defensive end for the Trevians.

.

Loyola has gotten hot at the right time, beating St Patrick last weekend for third place at the Catholic League tournament. Tommy O'Bryan supplies the defense while Nathan LeRoy and Tommy Shewchuck have turned things up a notch in recent games for the Ramblers.

.

Prospect/Wheeling could give Evanston some trouble of they can get past Glenbrook South in the first round. The Wild Knights are led by Mike Blatter and goalie Jeff Powers. Glenbrook South's Matt McDowell will try to spark his team to an upset, while Chris Boudart and Hersey will look to do the same against Loyola.
