      Matt Farmer scored 6 goals and 
      Connor Brown added 3 scores as Fenwick got their state title defense with 
      a 15-8 win over Loyola in conference play. Charlie Dowdle scored 3 times 
      and Will LeCompte added 2 scores in the losing effort for the Ramblers. 
        
      Lincoln-Way 
      North 20 Richards 10 
      Corey Lewis scored 5 goals and 
      Jake Roberts added 4 scores in Lincoln-Way North's 20-10 triumph over 
      Richards. 
        
      McHenry 23 
      Conant 4 
      Kyle Braun totaled 6 goals and 
      10 steals, Dylan Clohessy and Phil Lesniak each registered 4 scores, and 
      Drew Schmitt added 3 goals in McHenry's 23-4 victory over Conant. Lucas 
      Matthys, Tim Briscoe, and Scott Dabrowski also tallied 2 goals apiece in 
      the win for the Warriors. Colin Boland, Jerry Flowers, Jon Burke, and 
      Palmer Lynch each scored once in the loss for the Cougars. 
        
      Naperville 
      Central 8 Lincoln-Way East 4 
      Kyle Rickert and Neal Hosper 
      each scored 2 goals to help lift Naperville Central past Lincoln-Way East 
      8-4 on Monday night. The Redhawks used  a 3-0 run in the third period 
      to pull away from the Griffins in the season opener for both teams. Jay 
      Howenstine, Jeff Depew, and Steven VanDeventer also chipped in with one 
      goal apiece in the victory for NC, while goalie Pat Stablein stopped 10 
      shots for the Redhawks. Al Newell, Andy Gramont, Ryan Stuart, and Steve 
      Walczak each recorded goals for LWE, while goalie Tom Vandervelde recorded 
      14 saves in the loss.  
        
      
      St Ignatius 18 St Viator 7 
      Mark Alvarado tallied 7 goals 
      and Kevin Barth scored 5 times as St Ignatius knocked off St Viator 18-7. 
      Gregg O'Connor registered 5 goals and Justin Imhoff added the other 2 
      scores in the loss for the Lions. 
        
      STC East 14 
      Maine South 7 
      Shaun Suescheck recorded 7 goals 
      to lift STC East to a 14-7 victory over Maine South on Monday evening. 
      Bennett Fitzmaurice, Matt Van Gyseghem, and Mitch Phelps each chipped in 
      with 2 scores apiece in the win. 
 
            GIRLS

      Beth Zhe scored 6 times, Kristen 
      Whitehead added 4 scores, and Jenna Capriotti scored 2 goals as Bradley 
      cruised to a 19-2 win over Shepard. 
        
      
      Bremen 18 Lincoln-Way Central 17 
      Hannah Schultz (4 goals) scored 
      with :04 remaining as Bremen stunned Lincoln-Way Central 18-17 on opening 
      night. Emma Martinus also scored 9 goals, while goalie Vasi Vasilopoulos 
      stopped 11 shots to help lead the Red Jaguars to the big early season win. Danijela Jackovich totaled 7 goals and Ashley Knight added 5 scores in the 
      losing effort for the Knights.

      Colleen Moran recorded 8 goals 
      to lead Hinsdale Central to a 16-7 victory over Morton in West Suburban 
      Conference play. 
        
      Northside 13 
      Maine East 3 
      Diane Roback, Kelly Buchanan, 
      and Rhyan White each scored 3 goals to lift Northside to a 13-3 victory 
      over Maine East. Cecile Franke led the way for the Mustangs on the 
      defensive end with 14 saves and 6 steals. 
        
      Richards 12 
      Lincoln-Way North 5 
      Lisa Gorski poured in 10 goals 
      as Richards defeated Lincoln-Way North 12-5 on Monday.

      Kate Stelnicki totaled 4 goals, 
      Becky Insalaco added 3 scores, and Katie Murphy stopped 13 shots in the
