TUESDAY'S GAME PREVIEWS

BOYS

MATCH OF THE DAY

#11 Sandburg at #6 Latin

The undefeated Eagles face their first major test when they head to Chicago to take on Latin on Tuesday night. The Romans are off to an 8-1 start and look to continue their impressive start against Sandburg.

KEEP AN EYE ON:

#18 Glenbrook North at #14 New Trier - The Spartans could make a major dent with a win over the Trevians, while Matt McClone, Mike Maley, and Co. will look to earn a key CSL win at home on Tuesday against GBN.

#4 Lyons at #16 Stagg - The Chargers have been on a roll since the start of the season, so a win here over LT would continue their push towards the Top 10. Meanwhile, the Lions will be looking for their second victory since falling to Brother Rice last week.

GIRLS

MATCH OF THE DAY

#24 Neuqua Valley at #5 Fenwick

#24 Neuqua Valley at #5 Fenwick - The Wildcats have already earned a major win over Mother McAuley this season, so they will look to do the same when they head to Oak Park to take on Fenwick on Tuesday. The Friars are 5-1 and could use a big win as they head into their own tournament on Thursday night.

KEEP AN EYE ON:

#26 Hersey at #19 Wheeling - The result of this MSL East contest will play a major factor in who represents the MSL East in the conference title game this season, so the undefeated Wildcats will hope for a strong turnout after beating conference rival Prospect last week.

#11 New Trier at #25 Glenbrook North - The Trevians and Spartans meet in a Central Suburban League contest that could shake up the standings as we reach the midpoint of the season.

#32 Schaumburg at #6 Fremd - The Vikings come into this contest heavily favored, but the Saxons are still undefeated in the MSL West and this fixture will put the winning team ahead in the conference standings by the end of the night.
