MATCH OF THE DAY

5:00pm #15 H-F at #8 Sandburg

The winner of Friday night's grudge match between H-F and Sandburg hopes to clinch at least a share of the SWSC Red division title, as if this rivalry game needed any more excitement. The winner can claim the outright title if they get a bit of help from LWC in their game with Lockport, but the focus will also be on getting a high-quality win to cap off the regular season for both teams.

KEEP AN EYE ON

5:00pm #41 Lincoln-Way Central at #5 Lockport

The Knights head to Lockport looking to really shake things up at the top of the SWSC Red division with an upset over the Porters, who can clinch at least a share of the division title with a win in the last SWSC contest of the season for both teams.

OTHER KEY TOURNAMENTS

CSL TOURNAMENT

The Central Suburban League features two play-in games that will help finalize Friday's quarterfinal round setup. Deerfield seeks their first win against a conference opponent when they face Glenbrook North at 4:30pm, followed by a battle between Highland Park and Maine East that will determine who will face top seed New Trier on Friday. The four quarterfinal round games will be played on Friday night, followed by Saturday's consolation and championship bracket semifinals and culminating with the championship round beginning at 1:00pm.

MCAC TOURNAMENT

The Catholic League Tournament kicks off with a play-in game between DeLaSalle and Mt Carmel, the winners face top-seeded Fenwick in the second quarterfinal game at 6:30pm. The winning side from that trio of teams will face either St Ignatius or St Patrick, who do battle at 5:30pm in the first quarterfinal game of the night. Loyola takes on St Rita and Brother Rice faces St Viator on the other side of the bracket, with the winners advancing to play each other in the second semifinal on Saturday.

WSC TOURNAMENT

The Lions look to repeat as West Suburban Conference champions, but they will likely face a handful of challenges from the likes of Hinsdale Central, Oak Park, York, Hinsdale South, or Morton. The Huskies take on Hinsdale South on Friday, with the winner meeting Hinsdale Central on Saturday morning. In the other quarterfinal round game, York does battle with Morton for the opportunity to play the defending champs on Saturday morning in the first semifinal. The tournament concludes with the championship game on Saturday afternoon at 1:00pm.

6:00pm #23 Lockport at #5 Lincoln-Way Central

The Knights look to close out the regular season with a victory over the Porters that can help them clinch at least a share of the SWSC Red division title.
